Hey all! I have read all three of the Lux series at least twice. I can't wait for the next book to come out. I decided to go ahead and write about what I think might occur after Katy is freed. Hope you all enjoy!

NOTE: This is many weeks after the end of Opal (or whatever the name of the third book is) and will not encompass everything.

Chapter 1

Katy PoV

It has been so long…The constant pain and burning. The few and far between breaks where they take me outside of my cell. The things that they have done to me. I have hidden my bracelet where they would never look. It has made the onyx more bearable but it still hurts like hell. I've forgotten where I am…

I don't know my own last name. I know my name is Katy and that I can blame a Luxen for my situation. Or at least that is what they have told me.

-Time Skip-

"Hey Katy," the man who regularly enters my cell to talk to me said. He generally comes and asks me questions about my knowledge on the Luxen, Arum, obsidian, and the mutation. He has never been mean to me but he was become forceful recently as he questions me about who mutated me.

"What is it this time?" I asked him in my raspy voice.

"I just would like to tell you that you are being released today." He said.

"What do you mean I am being released?" I replied. But the main didn't reply and just left my cell. I wait for my "food" for lunch and went back to trying to regain my memories of the Luxen. Like always, it doesn't work…

~~Minor Time Skip~~

"Where is Katy?"

"Kitten! Kitten! Where are you Kitten?"

"I think she is over here!"

These were the things that I heard that woke me up. I also heard a lot of smashing and slamming. There were also sounds of crashing and fighting. I was wondering why we were under attack and why the attackers knew my name. The sounds of the struggle were approaching the area outside my cell. I crawled to the corner of my cell and hissed when I came in contact with more of the onyx.

I saw one of the main doors dent and let out a whimper. Then I heard a loud smash and the door came down. I heard alarms go off and saw a few lights turn on. I then saw three Luxen enter in their light form. They flew over to my cell and started to try to destroy it. They were able to bend the bars enough for one of the Luxen to squeeze through.

The Luxen changed to his human form and approached me.

"Kitten?" he asked with his startlingly green eyes.

"Who are you?" I replied…
