Outside the cathedral of Notre Dame, Olga, Tatiana, Maria and Anastasia, disguised as villagers, were strolling. They were just escaped from their tragic execution at Ipatiev House in Yekaterinburg but they encountered a time warp that brought them to 1428, in Paris.
"I think I wanna go to that church," Anastasia begged, "just to explore what's inside."
"Of course, Nastenka," Tatiana yielded in.
They went inside the church. Once there, they were astonished to see the stained-glass windows there. After a while, they continued upstairs, to the room where the bellringer, Quasimodo, lived.
"Hi Quasi!" Anastasia giggled as she greeted him.
Quasimodo, who was finishing his miniature version of Paris, was shocked to see the four strangers standing by. "Hello girls, and what's your names? Where did you come from?"
The girls took turns in introducing themselves. "My name is Olga," a girl in a green dress introduced herself, followed by the joyful answers of "And I'm Tatiana," "The name's Maria," and "My name is Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolayevna Romanova."
"We come from Russia," Olga informed.
"And we just escaped from the hands of our enemies," Maria added.
Quasimodo grinned at the girls. "Nice to meet you, Olga, Tatiana, Maria, Anastasia," he said, shaking hands at each girl.
