She was in London, she always loved Ben. The stars, her stars were humming a beautiful tune. She danced down the coble stone streets to the song only she was privileged enough to hear. Letting her feet take her where they wanted.
The humans, those ugly meet bags, cute kitties and puppies were giving her a wide birth, she wished they hadn't, she wanted their sweet strawberry tasting juice, but she didn't want to stay from her path.
She stopped anyway; she swayed to her song, his song. Only to collapses with a howl, one that echoed through ever corner of London. They all felt the sorrow, the rage and the fear that howl gave off.
They never wanted to feel like that again.
Drusilla was rocking herself, Miss. Edith thrown aside, she whimpered.
He stars betrayed her.
They were silent now.
And she knew she could never trust them again. Never.
Slowly, shakily she managed to stand walking anywhere, letting her feet take her to where they liked.
Miss. Edith lay forgotten on the side of the road.
She loved him, Her William. The stars had never truly sung until he was hers. Even when he had that nasty white light-a soul, the same as the not-daddy. But now things were different.
She opened her eyes, she knew where she was.
This was the street.
The one where they had met.
The stars had betrayed her.
She was alone.
And her Spike was dead.
