The rain was bouncing off the roof of Aria's house. Holden was there, of course.

"I don't even see why he took the job." She said through sobs.

Holden put her arm around her. She leaned her head on his shoulder.

"Everything will be better soon. I promise Aria."

"How can you say that Holden. Here I am. Crying one you. I'm heart broken. And you're just saying that it'll be fine.!" She yelled.

"Aria. Everything will be. In the distant future. I promise."

The tiny brunette stood up, wiped the tears from her face and said: "Whatever. Goodbye Holden."

The next day at school didn't go as smoothly. Aria wasn't there. Holden needed her. He needed to tell her his true feelings. He's in love with her. And with Ezra gone, he could get her. But he didn't realize how much in love she was with him. It sucked.

He left school early. Doctor's appointment. Once he was done with that he went straight to Aria's house.

Mike let him in for the fact that he was Holden.

"Aria." he said while knocking on her door. "Aria please let me in."

She opened the door. "What do you want Holden?"

"You."

"Excuse me?"

"All I've wanted since I came back is you! And you lied to me. Then told me the truth. And now he's not here! Aria."

"Are you serious, Holden? He just left." she said. Tears forming in her eyes.

"I just wanted to let you know how I feel. Okay?"

"Holden." She said trying to grab his arm.

"Just forget it okay?"

"Hold.." She spoke too late. He left.

The next day she found out he was going overseas again.

"Holden." She said when she finally found him again.

"Aria. I'm so sorry that I didn't tell you. I just found out last night."

She ignored him. She leaned up and kissed him. The sweetest kiss imaginable. He kissed her back and the two stood there, exchanging kisses with each other for five whole minutes.

"Well looks like a tiny brunette is going to have to get into a suitcase with me."

Aria laughed. And life was good again.
