"He said 'shut up' to me!"
For months, I had basically been in darkness. I went from enjoying the possibilities of spending eternity with my tall friend only to being pushed away and ignored. He hadn't been spoken to in months and I missed it terribly. I didn't think I would but I regret to say that I did.
Now wherever Sam would go, I would try to follow. At times, I felt like a puppy that his owner didn't want and it wasn't a nice feeling.
I tried at every opportunity to grab Sam's attention. From showing him dead bodies hanging from the ceiling to making it seem like strangers were trying to kill themselves by banging their heads off the table. But it was no use. He would just press his thumb into his hand and force me to disappear.
But today, as Sam left the library, he actually said something to me. He told me to 'shut up'. My heart, what's left of it, actually skipped a beat. I had him and this time I wasn't going to let go.
