A/N I just finished Fangirl today and I LOVED it and I loved Wren's character, and I wanted to do some of her thought process. So read and pleaseeee review! (Still can't get over the fact I'm writing a fanfic too for a book called Fangirl lol)

Wren hadn't meant to be such a bitch, she didn't mean to get so wasted, and she definitely didn't mean to hurt Cath the way she had. She wasn't quite sure what she was thinking. At first she just figured it was probably good for them to be apart. And it was, to an extent. It was a different story when Wren started getting drunk and ignoring Cath.

Her and Cath might have been twins and they might have had several shared interests, but they were two different people. They dealt with things differently. Especially when it came to Laura-their mother. Cath was furious that Wren had wanted to talk to their mom again. Wren knew Cath had thought she was over what had happened. That she was the strong one. The one that always had things under control. But she didn't. Wren was no better than Cath in that department, she was just a lot better at hiding it. Of course she wasn't over their mom leaving them! How could she be? Cath had thought Wren had forgiven their mom, but really she hadn't. She was just desperate. She wanted to know that their mom loved them. At some point at least. She didn't think Cath would understand that. It's why she didn't tell her sister. She realized now anything would have been better than fighting with Cath like she was. She just wanted to make all those feelings go away, so she ignored Cath. She made new "friends." She got drunk and high and a variety of other things she didn't want to think about. She almost died.

It was a wakeup call. She knew how messed up she had been as soon as her dad actually disciplined her. That wasn't like her dad. She had scared the shit out of them, and frankly she had scared herself. Her sister forgave her just like that. Wren didn't even need to apologize, Cath just did. They were twins, that's how it worked, Cath had said.

Wren sat up in her bed and ran a hand through her pixie-cut hair. She had really fucked up. She was going to fix this. Starting with Cath.
