Prologue- The Awakening
Hey there guys! Dialgag here, and sorry I haven't updated my other story, Chaos' Army: The Chosen One, but I lost inspiration. So, I have this new idea for a story. See if you like it. Press that review button to tell me if I should continue or not. It doesn't take long, and motivates me to keep the story alive. Besides, I'll give cookies to the first few reviewers! Yum! (::) (::)
Disclaimer: Dialgag does not own the Greek Gods, nor does he own any characters from PJatO, or HoO. Rick Riordan does.
Mortals are so ignorant. They believed that Chaos created the Universe, and had created five beings, each with immense power. These beings are Tartarus, Gaia, Eros, Erebus, and Nyx. Then, Erebus and Nyx married each other and had two offspring: Hemera, primordial goddess of Day, and Aether, primordial god of Light. Afterwards, Tartarus and Gaia had tons of children together. The major primordial they gave birth to were Ouranous, primordial of the sky, Ourea, primordial god of Mountains, and Pontus, primordial god of the sea. There are others, but we will save them for later. It is also believed by foolish mortal myths that Chronos, the primordial of time, was born to Chaos afterwards.
How stupid those mortals were.
They were right about everything, but they missed an important fact: Angora. She was the twin sister of Chronos, the primordial goddess of space. Together, they were the siblings of space and time.
Eventually, mortals began to forget about the primordial gods, and started worshipping the Titans, afterwards the Olympians. There were no memories, no records of the eldest gods. Except for one family. They were the legacy of the two twins, the twins' essence put into them right before they partially faded. This legacy was carried on, unknowing and innocent, until it reached a woman: Sally Jackson. She met an Olympian, Poseidon, god of the seas, and they fell in love. Eventually, the legacy of the twins of space and time gave birth to a baby.
Everyone sensed it on the eighteenth of August. Everyone felt the huge power wave, radiating off the demigod of Poseidon. The baby lived his life, happily and peacefully. But unknown to the mother, all exceptionally powerful babies of that family would have their hidden powers activated when they reached the age of sixteen. As did Julian Caesar, the great Theseus, and on and on with the list of famous heroes. They were all descended from that line of Time and Space.
That new born hero would someday become the best hero ever to live. He just didn't realize it yet. The baby's name? He was called Perseus Jackson.
Short Chapter, I know. Leave your reviews if I should continue or not.
Thanks,
Dialgag
