A/N: Hey guys! So sorry I haven't posted lately. Here is a little FT fanfic though and I will continue with Soul Eater too. Also I have been playing this game called Tomb Raider. It is so amazing! The only problem is it keeps glitching in ONE SPOT. Anyways enjoy

Disclaimer: I do not own Fairy Tail or any of its characters.

Natsu stared down at the lifeless figure in his arms, his onyx eyes filling with tears as he tried to put together what had happened. He ran a hand through the blue fur as a tear slipped from his eye. The dragon slayers head bent down causing his salmon hair to cast a shadow over his eyes.

A few moments later he heard the door creak open and a female voice rang through his home, "Natsu…?" he could tell it was Lucy.. "You weren't at the guild so I got worried…"

Never did the dragon slayers eyes drift from the limp feline in his arms. He couldn't find any word either, he was still to shocked.

Lucy sighed and opened the door a little wider, the blonde stepped inside, her footsteps echoing through the silent home. Each step made the blondes anxiety grow more and more.

She eventually found Natsu, kneeling in the middle of his bedroom with Happy in his arms. The celestial mage brought a hand up to her mouth, brown eyes filling with tears. She wasn't able to form any words-she couldn't have if she even tried.

"Luce…" Natsu choked out as he looked up at her, "H-He's dead…. He's really dead."

Lucy blinked and she felt a tear drop slide down her face as she stepped forward. Her high-heeled boots clicking on the hardwood floor. She knee;ed beside him and wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled im into a tight hug.

The dragon slayer finally broke, he wrapped an arm tightly around Lucy's waist, his other still holding happy not wanting to let him go yet, and his shoulders were shaking with his uncontrollable sobs.

"H-He was fine last night. T-Then I woke up this morning a-and he was gone."

Lucy's own tears slid down her cheeks. She has never seen Natsu like this before, so broken, he lost his best friend, and one thing was for sure.

There was no bringing him back.
