Chapter One

Whispers

Donna woke up gasping at the sudden searing burning pain in her head, she groaned as she massaged her temples hoping the pain would ease away. She groggily walked to the loo to wash her face and refresh herself. Donna looked outside the window it was still night! She glanced at the clock it was 3:00 am!

3:00 am! Donna groaned and walked to downstairs maybe she could just watch some telly 'till she fell asleep.

Donna

Donna glanced around at the sound of her name; she furrowed her eyebrows together when she saw that no one was there. The voice, that voice sounded so familiar, home like, and trustworthy. No. How could a voice in the middle of the night be reassuring and home like? But as crazy, as it might sound Donna felt as if she knew the voice, that voice…. Donna gasped once at the pain in her head, and then it just disappeared again just like that. Donna frowned it doesn't make any sense she was positive that she wasn't sick, it was summer and she never has any allergies, even so allergies don't cause unbearable burning headaches. Donna shook her head, which made her dizzy, so she went to the kitchen for a glass of water.

As Donna slowly drank the water she wondered again why or how did these massive headaches keep coming back to her? And that voice, that voice…. None of it made any sense, Donna walked up to her room, suddenly very tired, tomorrow, tomorrow she would maybe find some answers. Donna let out a huge yawn, as she slowly climbed in bed,

"Maybe it's them Martians…" she thought as she quickly fell asleep.
