The sun's light beams laid down their warmth on the earth and the people who walked over it.
It was as if it brought happiness to the people making them smile to the warm feeling that surrounded them, Everyone seemed happy, Except Edward Elric. He was angry, or better said, he was pissed off. Stomping down the street with glanced fists moving to Central Headquarters.
Inside HQ everything was still quiet and peaceful, keyword 'still'. As usual Roy Mustang sat behind his desk staring at his pile of paperwork with a bored expression on his face. "Taisa, I'm sorry to interrupt you in your work…" Lieutenant Riza Hawkey came into his office giving him kind of a warning look "I'm sorry sir to interrupt you with doing nothing but Edward Elric is here to see you" With one last glance she left his office as Ed walked in, still pissed off. "What is it now Hagane no?" Roy asked starting to work on his papers now "YOU KNOW WHAT!" The young blond yelled. In the hall everyone looked a bit shocked at the door, some people even dropped their stuff startled. Roy shook his head "I'm sorry Hagane no, I don't" Ed huffed in anger and lunged at the older man in a failed attempt since the large desk stopped the small boy from his action. Ed walked away from the desk and sat down on the soft couch in Roy's office, he sighed and stared at the ceiling. Roy looked confused at the boy and shook his head, He would never be able to figure that boy out.
-----Ed's POV-----
I sighed as I looked up at the white ceiling, Baka no Taisa! He never understood anything.
I looked at him from the corner of my eye seeing him shake his head, wich only annoyed me more "And why you're doing that hmmm?" I glared at him seeing a small smirk creeping up his lips. I felt a few veins on my head which only annoyed me more and more "WHY THE HELL ARE YOU SMIRKING!". Roy stood up and walked over to me, still smirking as he placed his hand against my cheek, I felt the heat rushing to my face as I pulled back from him looking away. Roy turned around and sat down behind his desk again still with that stupid smirk of his on his face. "Hagane no, tell me why you're here" he said in his business voice, I hate it when he uses that voice but then again what do you expect with such a old geezer "Never mind" I said bluntly as I got up, making my way to the door. "Hold it Edward" I ignored it and opened the door " Get back here NOW, that's an order". Softly cursing under my breath I walked back to the couch closing the door behind me. "Tell me why you're here" Roy asked again, his dark eyes narrowed annoyed but I could clearly hear the amusement in his voice. I growled softly again "You know why I'm here" I snapped. He chuckled at me and pulled a drawer open, taking a letter out it waving it around a bit "You mean this Hagane no?" he asked me somewhat playfully. "GIVE THAT BACK BASTARD!" I jumped up lunging at him again as he laughed "Don't worry Hagane no, I didn't open it…" I sighed in relief at hearing this "…Yet" he finished with a smirk as he started to make the letter open.
------Normal POV-------
Roy took the letter out the envelope and started to read it, a very amused look on his face. Ed snatched the letter out his hand and stuffed it inside his jacket, his face almost glowing as he turned around. Roy whined still amused "No fair Hagane no" he said with a grin "I was getting to the good part" his grin grew wider when he saw the red face of the young blond.
"I-I have to go" Ed managed to bring out as he took of. Roy sat down satisfied as he started to work on his papers.
