It was a chilly night in the midst of October. People were out gathering wood and fowl for the long winter. It starts snowing because it's going to be winter. In the bowels of a large castle two very special people are staying warm in their own way. They're just sleeping together because Daniel had been having nightmares again. Daniel was awake but the Shadow was sleeping. Daniel turns on his side to stare dreamingly at the entity beside him. He always was fascinated with things of old origin; that was why he was an archeologist after all. He sighs, unable to sleep at all. He pokes the Shadow. "What do Shadows dream of?"
He doesn't expect a response, the other being sleeping. So it was rather unexpected when he heard a coy reply of "you" Daniel jumped back slightly while the Shadow chuckled lightly-You were sleeping!""How do you think anyone could sleep with you poking them?" the Shadow asks a little on the annoyed side. "Besides I am more of an entity so i don't need sleep. I could do certain things far longer than any human could" He said this in a challenging sort of way "Really now."
Daniel eyes him not sure what to think of the Shadow, having just got close to him recently "I have half a mind to prove that statement wrong," Daniel said starting to feel a little braver. The shadow just smirked at him. He was a foolish human. Danny tackled him.
