Heyoo~! This is my first Fan Fiction so it's probably gonna suck. Well, here it goes...
A Flame Dying in the Rain
Chapter 1
I ran down the street as fast as I could, trying to get away from my sister and her friends. Rain poured down hard on my dyed red hair, and making my clothes soaked and heavy. I tried to look over my shoulder to see if they were still following only to see that they were. I tried to run faster but the pain from the cuts and bruises on my legs, arms, stomach, and face made it hard to run. I was running out of breath and would probably have to stop somewhere. But I had to try my best to keep going. I just couldn't give up.
I could see a street light shining on an alley and I ran towards it. I needed somewhere to hide in. As I turned into the alley, I frowned. There was a brick wall blocking the other end and now I had to way to escape. I was stuck. I skidded to a halt and looked around. There was nothing for me to hide behind.
"There she is!" one of the girls called as they ran after me. I had nowhere else to go so I just stood there, waiting for them to come. I could barely see them coming, the streetlight shining right in my eyes.
Due to the intense pain I was already feeling, I could barely feel one girl punch my face, sending me to the ground. The wave of extreme pain hit me moments later, but I couldn't scream. I could only yelp.
"Shut up." said another. I couldn't tell the difference between their voices anymore, the sounds becoming hazy. I felt a sharp pain to my stomach as someone kicked me. Hard. I didn't even have enough energy to yelp this time. I could barely even move.
From where I was on the ground, I could see them smiling. Were they done finally? I didn't care. I was done.
"I'll tell your sister you're dead. Not like she'd care." There was laughter from all of them and they walked away.
I tried to stand up but I immediately fell when pressure was put on my feet. The pain was too much for me to handle. I just lied there on the ground, waiting for nothing. Even thought there was a streetlight burning into my eyes, nobody was going to see me. I probably had some internal bleeding in my stomach. That's what it felt like at least. I felt so drained. I felt dead. Like was going to pass out. My eyes were growing heavy and my thoughts were going blank. I couldn't feel the rain but I knew it was pouring still. The sounds of everything around me were starting to mix together. I was slowly starting to close my eyes when something stopped me.
Even though my vision was blurred and one eye was swelling up, I could see what looked like two people standing at the end of the alley, by the streetlight. Their outline was obvious against the light shining on me.
Oh great, I thought. More of my sister's jerky friends coming to shoot me? Not like it matters anymore. I couldn't do anything about it.
But something was different. They were just standing there. Were they looking to see if I was dead? I was still breathing so they must know I'm still alive. But if they knew, wouldn't they have come for me already? So, this can't be my sister's friends… who the heck was it then?
"Hey." said a voice. It was a guy's voice. "You okay, dude?"
This voice was so familiar. Like I'd heard it somewhere before.
I used most of my remaining energy to look up. The person who had been talking was standing over me. From what I could see with my blurred vision, this person was blonde. That was it. And the person standing with him was blonde, too. They looked exactly the same but their clothes were different.
The last thing I remember before blacking out was one of the blondes reaching down to… pick me up?
Who knows..
So, how was that? Was it okay? I hope!
