He's gone. He's left me alone. He doesn't love me. I never even got to say good bye. Now I won't get the chance. I've been a zombie for the last three days. I barely eat and sleep. I can tell Charlie's worried and my friends at school have wondered why Im like this. What should I do? I lay in bed thinking about this when I heard a small tap on the window. It was late and I could see a dancing shadow in the moonlight through my curtains. I hesitantly crossed my room and slid it open only to come face to face with two deep crimson eyes. It was Felix. I didn't cry out or scream. What use would that do? My life no longer mattered without him. Felix climbed into my room and I could feel his curious eyes burning into my back as I went to sit on my bed. Once seated I sighed "What do you want?" My voice was emotionless and cold. He cocked his head to one side, interested. "Master Aro wishes to see you. We will travel to Italy tonight." He stopped waiting for my protests but I had nothing to protest to. Felix walked towards me and I held a hand out to stop him. He halted and looked at it questionably. "Let me write a note, cover your tracks." He nodded, surprised I guess that I would bother. I left it where I knew Charlie would find it and walked silently to Felix who grabbed me and ran. I let sleep swallow me.
Felix POV
This girl was strange. I mean really strange. She knew what we were but yet she showed no emotion. She actually cared to cover my tracks. I couldn't help admire her courage and beauty. As the private plane touched down onto the Italian tarmac I glanced at her sleeping figure. Not a sound except the thud of her heart and the quiet breathing. Her heart beat was barely audible even with vampire hearing. I gently picked her up. Cradling her in my arms and exiting the plane. I strapped her into the backseat of the land rover and drove towards Volterra. Aro would be pleased.
Bella POV
When I awoke I found I was in a car. I could see Felix in the front seat look at me as I shifted my position and adjusted my seatbelt. "Have a nice dream?" he asked casually. What was with these vampires and me sleeping? "You think I could have dreams without him?" I stated like it was the most obvious thing in the world. He shrugged and pulled me into the beautiful castle and past the reception. Volterra. Oh what fun.
20 minutes later
"Are we done yet? I'm bored and quite frankly I don't like you very much." I was seriously bored. Aro was sitting on his high and mighty throne while I stood there answering mindless questions about vampires and silently waiting for death. I wish they would hurry up. Aro looked at me oddly.
"Why do you test me? Strange child, do you want to die?" He seemed unsure as to what to expect.
"I speak my mind and I'm bored. Oh and by the way Yes I do. Can I go now?" Wow shocker there. Aro stared at me furious that he wasn't causing fear. I fear nothing anymore.
"Well, I'm sure that Felix would love to grant your request."Felix rushed to my side and held my arm tightly. I would have bruised if I had cared.
