Chapter 1:(think of when thought of chapter 2)
Colonel O N'eill, Generall Hammond, Carter, Daniel and Teal'c were all debriefing on their mission to P9x-678. It was the usual scenario for a debriefing; Sam telling General Hammond everything scientific; Daniel telling Hammond every cultural feature of the planet, Jack staring at the clock every five minutes and Teal'c ...well... being Teal'c!
The mission was to a planet over-run by the Goa'uld and an SG team got captured-they were staging a rescue mission. SG-1 as usual had to sneak round the goa'uld and help any prisoners the goa'uld had enslaved, maybe even blow up a few motherships! They couldn't help anyone and were nearly caught themselves! They did however manage to blow up a mothership (Jack was pleased to see it go BOOM!) They did not however manage to recover the SG team.
In the debriefing room there was a few tears about the probably killed new SG team. General Hammond followed procedures willingly and canceled all missions till news of the SG team came back. The SGC contacted all offworld teams and scrubbed their missions immediatley. Cheyene mountain complex had never been so full all new and old SG teams were compacted into the stargate facility. Everyone was bored, everyone except Jack he was having the time of his life!
Samantha Carter walked down the narrow corridors in search of colonel O N'eill's room. She turned the corner and was shocked. What she saw terrified her more than the goa'uld. What she saw was Jack READING!! She stood still to process this information, more than she hoped. She woke from the horrifying trance as Jack waved his arms in-front of her
"Carter, Carter, SNAP OUT OF IT CARTER"
"Sir what are you reading!" Sam said with puzzlement
"what this" Jack held the front cover up to her face. Now she was even more scared, the title read 'How Helicobacter Pylori and Carcinoembryonic Antigen links in with Advanced medical science.' Sam was confused, really confused. Jack walked off probably to the cafeteria and carter saw the horrible truth. There was a Beano comic behind the book beyond Carter's understanding.
When Carter found the comic she understood perfectly. She headed in the direction of the cafeteria to where Colonel O N'eill was supposidley heading. When she got there she was shocked. Again. He wasn't there but he was always in the cafeteria in his spare time. She racked her brain then thought: no missions, allowed off grounds and its that time of year.
Jack slowly opened the door of Teal'c's room and his body temperature immediatley rose because Teal'c was surrounded by candles that had been probably been burning for hours. Jack slowly closed the door as he entered. Teal'c's right eye winced for a split second.
" You may enter Colonel O N'eill" Teal'c said in a quiet and controlled voice.
"Wot 'ave i said about you callin' me Colonel!" O N'eill said interupting Teal'c's kelnoreem.
"i said dont call me it call me Jack" Jack said controlling his voice.
"Indeed you did Colonel O N'eill" Teal'c said without the slightest hint of psarcasm.
"Teal'c i was wondering wether you wanted to go fishing, like sometime now?"
"I cannot i am not to be disturbed in kelnoreem"
"well okay then bye"
"bye" Teal'c said not moving any needed muscles. Jack left the room a little more pleased than excpected.
About two minutes later Daniel entered Tealc's quarters
"Teal'c would you mind helping me with some translasions, if you're not too busy?"
"i will indeed help you Daniel Jackson under one condition. We do not talk to Colonel." Just as Daniel was about to agree the sirens went off flashing red with warning sounds. Then General Hammond came on speaker "SG-1 to the control room stat!"
