Ed was sitting in his room, alone. He was always alone. He hadn't showered in weeks, his golden hair greasy, golden eyes dead to the world.
Ed was wearing a white dirty t-shirt, and his boxers. It was a good thing Al was in Rezembool, or else he would die of Ed's stench.
Hughes tried to get Ed out of there forever, but Ed never talked, ate, or even looked at him. Then one day, Hughes finally went to Roy.
"Hey, Roy. I need your help." Hughes said, dragging Roy into his office.
"Roy, Ed wont leave his room. You need to see how bad he is. Seriously. He needs some help, from you. Please, help him. Please?" Hughes begged. Roy groaned.
"Fine. I will go right now." Roy said, before leaving.
Roy knocked on Ed's door three times before, deciding to walk in. Ed was sitting there, in his dirty white t-shirt, and boxers.
"Ed what the hell happened to you?" Roy exclaimed. Dead golden eyes, met with black piercing ones.
Ed's eyes didn't look as dead as they were, actually they were almost normal. Then tears welled up in those golden eyes.
"I'm sorry, please forgive me. I'm so sorry." Ed said, the tears falling down his face. Roy hugged Ed.
"Its alright. Now what are you sorry for?" Roy asked incredibly confused.
"I almost killed Al, my little brother and I almost killed him!" Ed said, sobbing loudly. Roy rubbed his back and shushed him.
"Its going to be alright. Now lets get you in the shower, and some new clothes. I will go get you some, you go in the shower." Roy said, leading Ed to the bathroom, and then getting him some new clothes. Roy walked in the bathroom, oblivious to the naked Ed in the tub, showering with no curtain.
"Ah!" Ed exclaimed, covering his privates, blushing.
"Relax, we are both men. I am just putting your clothes in here." Roy said, putting Ed's clothes on a clothes rack, and taking his dirty ones. "I am going to do the laundry now."
"No, you don't have to do that. I can do it later." Ed said, quickly. Roy smirked. "No, let me. I can do it. I don't want you to overstress yourself." Roy said, leaving before Ed could argue.
The next day, Roy and Hughes finally talked.
"So, I guess Ed finally came out of his room?" Hughes said, as he saw Ed walk towards Havoc.
"Yeah, I talked to him yesterday, and he learned how to vent." Roy said. Hughes smiled.
"He came out because of you, you know. You should be proud of yourself, Roy." Hughes told him, gently punching his shoulder playfully.
They both looked over at Ed and saw him laughing. Then Havoc and Ed shared a passionate kiss, and Hughes smiled. "PICTURE TIIIIME!" Hughes screamed, and ran over to a very scared Havoc and Ed.
Its a one-shot that I typed up real quick. I thought it was good.
