First things first, I need to tell you readers that I am still going to continue my other story, "Tales o Guild Ignite" but I am right now having a writers block (Boo Hoo).
Now for the main thing. Here are two ideas about a new fan fiction on Tales of Vesperia. Pick the option that you think is more interesting and put your thoughts in a review.
One option: 20 years before the events of Tales of Vesperia. The 10th year since the birth of the Imperial Knights. The Zaphias Castle just got done from being built. So these knights are beginning to live in the living quarters in the castle. There are more captains, lieutenants, and the commandant position is now present. The king of Zaphias is a man who is caring about his people and wants to make sure that the knights are not doing anything that would hurt the empire. The main character girl just moved to Zaphias because her father just got the captain position. She has to get used to living in the city and has to get used to her new friends or she will go crazy. This story concentrates of the power of the Imperial Knights and how they got to stay in power. I will include some of the older characters from Tales of Vesperia (Yeager, Alexei, Schwann and others), but they will not be main characters more like supporting characters.
Second option: 5 years after Tales of Vesperia. The guilds and the knights are now living in peace. There's one thing though, a new empire just build their castle where the city Yormgon used to be at. The city is named Madre which took everyone four years to build. The people at Mantic moved to Madre and are living peacefully. Just like the Imperial Knights, there are new knights called the Ritter Knights, who wants to rule all over the world.
