Returning

Authors Note: Hey! This is my second fan fic on FF.net, the first one was a total dung bomb, but hey at least I got SOME reviews! I'm hoping that this one will be a success! This is the Prologue, which will tell me whether I should continue or not. The pairings are either going to be Malik and Anzu,
or Bakura and Anzu. Well, read and review! Disclaimer: I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh!
Malik looked out the window remembering the time that the one he loved, left town.
Malik walked down the dirt path of the park. He looked ahead and noticed a figure slouched down on a bench, shoulders hunched. His eyes focused and he saw that it was Anzu. He called out her name and she looked up towards his voice, but instead of looking happy, her eyes showed deep depression. Malik walked over to the bench and sat down beside the girl. "What's wrong?" he asked looking concerned. Anzu looked back at him with a surprised expression planted on his face. Malik had never showed any concern to anyone other then his sister Ishizu.
Anzu snapped out of her thoughts and opened her mouth to speak. "I need to leave town," she sputtered out. Malik looked at her with great surprise and concern. "Why?" he asked her. She looked away hiding the shedding tears in her eyes. She looked back at him to answer his question. "I can't tell you why, I just have to," She took a deep breath and continued, "Please don't ask me where I'm going, right now I really don't know, I just need to clear my thoughts," she took another deep breath. "Tell Yugi and them I left, and tell them not to worry, I don't know when and if I am coming back, just tell them, what I told you,"
She stepped forward and hugged Malik, and then turned away, and walked down the path. She was to far for her to here Malik whisper three words. "I love you,"
It's been a year. A year since Anzu left. Malik was very pained when she had, everyone was, but he noticed that Bakura was more then others. After Anzu's departure, he had become quiet. Malik was the same. "Malik," Malik snapped out of his thoughts and saw Joey's hand waving in front of his face. He looked away from the window and turned towards the TV that everyone had been watching, leaving a frustrated Joey to grumble about how he had 'wasted a whole conversation on a spaced out bozo'. He focused on what the gang was watching. A music concert preformed by new pop artists. The last band had just finished their song, and another band was starting their song.
A girl stepped out onto the stage to all the screaming fans. He then looked closer to the TV, the girl, with auburn heir, sapphire eyes, and, Malik had to admit, a gorgeous body, could be only one person. It was-- "Anzu?"
Authors Note: Yes, Yes, VERY short, but if I get reviews, then I will make the chapters longer, so please review! Ja Ne!
