Three year have pass since the destruction of Nox Obscurus. The eight unnamed heroes that marched step by step into the very depths of hell have gone their own ways. Their heavy and injured hearts have finally begun the process of healing after bearing witness to such a unexpected ending to their journey. With thoughts of the future being presented with each passing moment; how will they pave their own road into the unknown? Some will walk alone, some will look to their past for support, and some will walk hand and in hand together forever into the vast star ocean that they originally planned to explore.
After being assigned Interplanetary Captain and First Officer, Edge Maverick and soon-to-be Reimi Maverick set out to begin their original mission. The mission they took to up when the SRF first mission that twisted and was lost sight of to a greater importance. To explore the vast star ocean and report their findings. A rather romantic and noble journey for two that are just starting a new life together.
With the new and improved Calnus under their control, where they might end up in the vast black sea of the heavens boils solely down to their own curiosity. With old friends still out in the stars, and new ones waiting to be met; Edge and Reimi set out together.
S.D 13: April 25th, 1300 PM Earth Time
"Hey Edge, you need to wake up!" Reimi proclaimed to her fiance, and captain of the Calnus. "We need to plan out where exactly our first destination is going to be! You can't just stay cooped up in bed all day and expect things to just happen, can you?"
Edge groaned and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. He stared at Reimi with a goofy smile as he propped himself up on his elbows and digested the words that his ears had just absorbed.
"I suppose you're right Reimi." Edge stated. "But it's not like we're actually on a time schedule. We're out in space after all, you know? I personally feel you should make a mental note of this and learn to relax a little more. Maybe I can help?" Edge finished with a grin on his face.
"What do you mean relax a little more! It's One in the afternoon back at Earth and we haven't done a single thing yet today!" Reimi loudly spoke back. Her hands placed at her hips as she watched Edge laugh at her reaction. "What so funn--!?" Reimi let out a yelp as Edge grabbed her hand and tugged her down onto the bed he still had not left.
"Listen to yourself. Yes, it's One in the afternoon back on EARTH. But we're in space. We have all the time in the world, Reimi. So please, let's not rush this?" Edge softly spoke as he held his fiance close to his chest. "I am captain after all. And if I feel the need to be lazy for a day, consider it to be an order!" He laughed out.
"Sigh.. Edge.." Reimi whispered as she moved closer into Edge's form. "Fine. I suppose an off day is to expected every once and a while. We can't be all business all the time."
"I couldn't agree more." Edge spoke as he stroked through Reimi's long brunette hair. "The way I look at it this time.. It's more of a.. pre-honeymoon than anything." And with that, Edge kissed Reimi's forehead and drifted back into his dreams.
"How very Edgian of you.." Reimi spoke to the man beside her as she let sleep consume her as well.
