Take it Back!

Hey, guys! This is just a short one-shot about a day in the lives of the Cullens. Maybe, if enough people like it, I'll continue it, but as of right now, I'm not planning on it.

Please READ AND REVIEW! Also, I really don't mind people giving me constructive criticism – honestly, I don't. Some writers do, but I really do want to grow as a writer, and what better way then someone telling you how to improve?

Disclaimer: This is getting repetitive. I. Don't. Own. Twilight. :^(

EDWARD

I sat on the couch, not really paying attention to anything, when Bella's giggle brought me out of my thoughts. I looked up at her, standing beautiful and sun-covered in the window, curious. What was going on in that mysterious mind of hers now? "Love?" I asked. She turned to me, eyes bright and sparkling. With her head, she motioned out the window. I got up, smiling. If I'd been smiling before, I was full out laughing by the time I caught sight of the scene outside.

Emmett was cowered against a tree outside, wincing as he looked up at the short, 4'10" vampire who, at the moment, stood just about as tall as he did. I bit my lip to hide my laugh. "Take it back," Alice warned in a normal tone; I could tell this hadn't been going on too long.

"No!" Emmett replied, strong even in death. I raised an eyebrow. Stupid, too.

"I said take it back!" Alice was a bit more forceful now, grabbing a chunk of curly brown hair and yanking upward. Emmett yelped.

"No!" he cried.

"TAKE IT BACK!" Alice shrieked a couple times later. She slammed his head into the nearest tree. For each slam, you could hear a loud "NO!"

"Esme won't be happy about that - that's the sixth tree this week," Carlisle's amused voice came from behind us, and Bella smiled at him, as did I.

"Hello, Carlisle." she greeted. He smiled at us.

"Hello, Bella. Ed - "

"TAKE. IT. BACK!!!!!" Alice screeched, a banshee in our own backyard.

"What's it about this time?" He asked warily. Bella shrugged, but I grinned, knowing perfectly well what it was about.

"Emmett, I've been easy on you as of now. I said, take it back." Alice's voice was scary calm, and scary quiet. Even Bella, Carlisle, and I, safe inside the confines of the house, winced back from the threat you could no doubt see shining bright in her eyes.

"Fine! I take it back! You're not only a short little Pixie, you're a violent, short little Pixie!" Alice screamed in exasperation.

"I'm. Not. Violent!" she screamed; for every word came a swift kick to the gut. Emmett grunted.

"Should we help him?" Carlisle suggested quietly. Bella and I shook our heads.

"Nah. Even Emmett should know better than to call Alice a violent pixie." Bella evaluated. With that, we settled back to watch Alice, short little Alice, beat up Emmett.

So how'd you like it? It feels weird to be doing such a short story, lol. I think it turned out alright, though. As I ranted about earlier, please review! Thanks!
