Jackson, Greta, and little Finn are my original characters, but I don't own CSI.

And I apologize for bouncing around time wise. But this story popped into my head and I had to write it!

I work in a library, so this pretty much wrote itself. I thought, since I've written that Finn and Greta are good pals, it would be cool for them to spend time together. Not much of a description, but I still hope you enjoy. And pretty please review!

If you told Nick Stokes and Greg Sanders just ten years ago that they'd be spending a day off in the children's department of the local library, they both might have laughed in your face. But they were both devoted dads. So, one morning while Greg's son Jackson was in school and Morgan was at home, Greg was with his daughter Greta and Nick with his son Finn at the library. The kids loved spending time with their friends and playing together. Nick and Greg loved seeing their kids so happy.

Finn laughed and played with Greta and his friends while Nick and Greg chatted with other parents and watched the kids. Greg had to smile when Finn offered Greta a bite of his cookie, and Greta asked Finn if he wanted more apple juice.

Greg leaned over to Nick who was happily watching his son. "Did you ever think this would be how we looked forward to spending a morning?" He asked.

Nick laughed. "Nah. But I love seeing those two happy." He and Greg smiled at the happy children.

"Me too," Greg said.

After story time, Greta and Finn happily ran to their dads. Nick noticed Finn looked a little concerned. "What's up, Finney? Didn't you have fun?"

Finn looked up at his father. "Daddy?" He motioned for him to come forward to him.

Nick leaned down and narrowed his brow. "What's up?"

Finn put his hand to Nick's forehead. "Finney?" Nick asked. "What are you doing?"

Finn pointed to one of the moms of the kids the children loved to see when they came to the library. He innocently said, "Miss Beth say you hot."

Nick's eyes widened and Greg pursed his lips to try to keep from laughing. Nick slowly smiled. "She did?"

"Uh-huh," Finn said.

"Well...did you think that's bad?" Nick asked.

Finn shrugged. "I dunno."

Nick smiled at his innocent son. "Well...I think it's okay."

"Okay!" Finn said.

Greta looked at her father, who looked like he had tears in his eyes. "You okay, dada?"

Greg cleared his throat, trying to regain his composure. "Yeah. And...your Uncle Nicky's okay, too. Right, Finn?"

"Yeah!" Finn said. He giggled when Nick lifted him into a hug.

Greta looked at her favorite uncle and best friend, wondering what they were talking about. Greg couldn't help but laugh as he lifted his happy daughter into a hug. Like Finn, Greta giggled when her father hugged her.

Finn smiled at his good friend. "Geta, is you dada hot too?"

"I dunno," Greta said with a shrug. Greg and Nick couldn't help but laugh.

"I tell you what," Nick said when he regained his composure after a few moments. "How about we go have some lunch, maybe play with Sam and Scruffy for a while?"

"Okay!" both children said.

Finn smiled at his dad. "I no fink you an Unca Greg too hot, but you okay."

"Thank you, Finn," Greg said with a laugh.

Nick smiled and hugged his son. "Thanks, Finney. You and Greta are okay, too." He and Greg hugged their kids. It was definitely never dull with those two buddies.

The End
