The moment Heine stepped in the church, he noticed something was off. It wasn't the blind priest fawning over the little angel, nor was it Badou smoking in the church either. That was normal for goodness sake! He just couldn't feel the normal eerie presence behind him. He instinctively looked behind him. Crack, that was it. She wasn't there. Naoto, the death-glaring-swords-woman, wasn't there. Heine immediately felt his mood go sour. His features turned into a grimace. Wait, since when did it start matter when she was here?

"I think I'm gonna need some air..." Heine retraced his steps to the door.

"Fresh air isn't gonna bring Naoto back," Bishop stated calmly while staring at ceiling.

"Shut it. I know already!" He pushed the church doors to make way for his exit. Nill fretted as she looked from Badou to Heine retreating figure.

"For someone who hates women, he sure misses her," Badou explained for Nill.

Outside, the albino-zombie wandered the streets. It was awkward without her presence following him. He wanted the feeling of normal when she was there. Well the most normal you can get from having a chick stalk you anyways. In a way, it was like she always had his back.

He wouldn't admit, but he misses her. Like you become attached to things you know, he became attached Naoto. Heine would be way too prideful to tell her.

After five hours of nothing but wandering, the albino finally returned to the church. Despite the "fresh air", he was still as moody as ever.

"You couldn't deal being without her for a day. How will you last this week?" Bishop shook his head. Badou couldn't resist and added another comment, "Just don't embarrass yourself when she does come back." The one-eyed cameraman's gut told him to leave before a certain dog could shoot a bullet through his head.

Next Week...

She sat in the back, alone. Naoto had arrived before anyone else entered the church. It was quiet, exactly what she wanted after a week underground. Tired, her eye lids slowly started to fall.

The doors slammed open. Bags were noticeable under his eyes. His red eyes scanned the room only to land short, black hair. He rushed to her. Before her, he realized her eyes were closed. Heine immediately softened. Slightly on impulse and slightly because of something more, he started to bend down and eyes were suddenly open.

Inches from his face, was not exactly how she expected to to see him after a week. Dang, it was awkward. They just stared without knowing what to do. As if on silent agreement they both straightened up and backed away with tinted red faces.

"I told him not to do anything that would embarrass him." Badou smirked as stood by the entrance.
