Music. I like the music today. It has a beat that makes you want to dance. Makes you dance like if you were beautiful. Makes you feel special.
I saw the guy in the corner. He's been looking at me for a while now. He is hot, I can tell. But I don't look much. Don't want to look too interested. He has the mysterious air. I always fall for that type.
Oh God! He's coming this way! Cool down girl, you can take him.
"Hi. Do you want to dance with me?" His voice is so nice…
Say yes. Say yes! Come on mouth! Open and say something!
"Yeah, sure" Well, that wasn't so bad. I played it cool.
And we dance. Close to me, he moves so close to me. I can feel him around me. I loose myself in his green eyes. They seem to shine. I know I want him.
'Do not go with boys you don't know, it is not proper. Do you hear me?' Yes mother, I hear you. But sometimes being all proper is extremely… dull. This is exciting. This is life.
The song finished and we go to the side to talk. He likes music. He talks soft and I lost myself in his voice. In his eyes.
"Do you want to go outside for a little while? Here's too crowded"
Mother's voice comes back, but I hush it before it makes me loose my concentration.
"Yeah, it's too crowded"
We go out. He takes me without warning. His arms around me, he kisses me passionately. His lips feel cold against mine, and I think how can he be cold and passionate at the same time? The thoughts leave me as fast as they arrive, and I'm left with the feeling of passion and lust and fear. Because I never felt so much.
He stops and I realize I need to breath. He looks me in the eyes and for a moment I though they were shining like the sun. But it was just a moment.
He is talking to me now. I try to focus my attention on his word. A futile battle, because his lips are so tempting.
"Would you like this to be forever?"
Forever.
To be forever in his arms. Loved and accepted. Defying mother's warning, defying being no one. To be everything, to feel everything. To be alive?
"Promise me…"
And he kisses me again.
He lowers his mouth to my neck and it feels wonderful. And there is pain and pleasure. And I know something is not normal, but I don't care. I want forever and he is going to give it to me.
The world spins around me and I feel dizzy. I close my eyes and explore this painful pleasure and arch my body against him.
He looks at me then, his eyes yellow his mouth red with my blood. I open my mouth and answer the question in his face. "Yes." He goes back to give the kiss of death and I close my eyes waiting for it. I can feel my blood leaving my body. I can feel his arms around me, keeping me safe.
But then there is no more pleasure. No arms around me no body against me.
I open my eyes in confusion and all I see is a blonde girl in leather pants with a wooden stake in her hand.
She asks me something, but I can't tell what it is.
My body falls to the floor, now that what was keeping it up is gone.
He is gone.
I notice the air is dusty around me but I don't care. And I close my eyes.
I open my eyes and look around. I'm in a white room, and it feels cold and impersonal.
My bed smell too clean, and I notice somebody next to me. I look and I see my mother.
Her face goes from preoccupation to the more common recriminatory one. And she start with the "I told you's" and I try o close my mind to it.
Trying to remember how good it felt to connect with someone.
He promised me forever.
But I should have known better than trust a man to keep a promise.
The End
