Short Fluffy One-Shot
(I was blessed with a message from a kind follower and so, more Toshiro x Momo fics shall be made! huehuehue . )
He loves me, He loves me not
It was spring, and all of the flowers were in bloom. Momo sat on the grass and picked up a flower that had fallen from a nearby sakura tree. An image of Toshiro flashed through her mind.
"He loves me." She plucked a petal delicately from the flower.
"He loves me not." She plucked another.
"He loves me." And then another.
"He loves me not." She sighed and pulled another.
"He loves me." It was the last petal. It made her smile. She lay back on the grass and looked up at the clear sky. After laying there for a few moments, she sits up again. Cool hands cover her eyes and she yelps in surprise.
"Guess who?"
Momo laughs and tugs at the arms.
"Hi Shiro-chan."
Toshiro pulls his hands away and Momo turns to face him.
"What are you doing here Shiro-chan?"
"I came to keep a certain someone company."
Momo smiled and Toshiro smiled a little in return. Momo hugged her knees. Should she tell him now? Toshiro caught one of the falling sakura blossoms and tucked it behind Momo's ear. She blushed in surprise.
"T-Thank you."
Toshiro just nodded before looking up at the sky. Momo's nerves were reaching their peak. She took a deep breath.
"Shiro-chan, can I ask you something?"
Toshiro nodded without looking her way.
"D-Do you have anyone you like?"
He turned and looked at her then. His eyes glistening and so beautiful, Momo flushed a darker shade of red.
"Yes."
Momo's fist clenched and she closed her eyes.
"Who is it?"
Toshiro was eyeing her with a mixture of curiosity, surprise, and something like exasperation. He sighed.
"Why do you want to know?"
"B-Because I-I-I…."
Toshiro placed a hand on her cheek.
"Relax."
Momo breathed in Toshiro's smell, it calmed her.
"I love you."
The words had come out like a whisper. Momo was afraid to look at Toshiro, she looked away. She felt his eyes on her and she trembled slightly.
"Momo, look at me."
She turned and met his dazzling blue eyes with her own brown ones. He placed both hands on her burning cheeks.
"I love you Momo."
Her eyes widened. Toshiro pulled her to him placing a gentle kiss upon her lips. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him again. It was perfect and Momo could feel herself shaking with happiness. He loves me.
