Chapter 1: Deidara.

Sakura 6 years old

"Deeiii-cchhann~" a small, sniffling, pink haired, girl called from the other side of said persons door. Under her arm, she held a soft, pink floppy-eared bunny toy. She sleepily knocked the door as she wiped her eyes of any tears, wiping any indication away that she had had a nightmare.

When the door opened, a sleepy-looking blond boy stepped out and looked at the little, scared girl in front of him.

"Hey, Saku-hime, what's wrong?" he asked gently, as he bent down on his knees and pushed the hair out of her face.

The girl looked at him with teary eyes and said, "I had a nightmawe, Dei-chan."

Deidara's eyes softened, he picked the girl up in his arms, turned around and closed the door with his foot.

The girl wrapped her tiny arms around his neck, nuzzling her face into his shoulder, bunny toy dangling by its arms from Sakura's hand at Deidara's back.

Putting the pinkette into his bed, he climbed in behind her and putting one arm under her head while he covered her and himself with his quilt.

Sakura snuggled into Deidara and hugged her bunny toy tightly, feeling safe and warm, she started to fall asleep.

Deidara hugged her to him as he too, was falling asleep, but not before he felt Sakura shift, raise her head and kiss his cheek and whisper sleepily, "Thanks, Dei-chan~" before she was out like a light.

Deidara smiled and stroked her hair, he kissed her forehead and said, "No problem, hime." before falling asleep himself.

And… Done!

So, I'm sat here, in my onzie, at 3:45 in the morning and writing, because I'm high on caffeine. Plus I'm in a super 'cute-mood' and this came out.

But seriously, after the terribly painful writers block, this is a very high achievement for me, considering every time I have even thought about writing the past few months, my brain would turn to wet blobs of very few brain cells and would leak out of my ears and nose.
