Disclaimer: I'm not J.K. Rowling so I don't own these amusing characters.
I wrote this a while ago and I'm ignoring Half-Blood Prince for a happy ending. My friend had asked for this pairing and the theme was wedding dress although I doubt she expected what she got. Hehe.
When Minerva McGonagall entered the headmaster of Hogwarts' office, Minerva did not expect the site she saw. After a moment of stunned silence and undignified gaping, she spoke up, "Albus, may ask what you are wearing?"
Albus Dumbledore, the greatest wizard of the century, the only wizard Voldemort has ever feared, the wizard awarded with an Order of Merlin, First Class, was Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards as well as the Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot, and was and still is the headmaster of Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry, and still should be added, the most esteemed wizard of his time, was wearing a wedding dress.
Dumbledore turned around, dress swishing around him, "A wedding garment, like you asked me to purchase, Minerva." he said jovially, not noticing McGonagall's complexion paling as she noticed the veil on his head replacing 'normal' hat.
"I did not ask you to buy a wedding dress, Albus!" McGonagall yelled, her face reddened with anger and embarrassment.
"Yes, but one I entered the shop, I fell in love with this material and this was the only garment in my size, made with this material." Dumbledore said, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
"You are not attending the wedding in th-that monstrosity!" Minerva exclaimed.
Dumbledore had that twinkle in his eye, the one she hated at the moment. "But, Minerva, dear, it's the same as your garment."
McGonagall blushed. "Yes, well, the bride and bridegroom are not wear matching garments, Albus. You were to purchase tuxedo suit. Aberforth went with you to the shop, why did he not inform you of the proper garments to purchase?" Once the words fell from her mouth, knew her last question was foolish. Since when can one trust Aberforth with anything?
"Aberforth had left after a few moments in the shop." Dumbledore stated.
McGonagall gave a curious look. "He stole something and they kicked him out, did they not, Albus?"
Dumbledore sighed. "Yes, Minerva." he said as he took out his wand and pointed at himself, changing the dress into a handsome tuxedo suit and the veil into a top hat, "I did purchase the proper garments, Minerva. I just wanted to gauge your reaction."
McGonagall gaped. "Marriage will be such fun with you as my wife." he stated kissed her cheek, the twinkle in his eye making a reappearance.
Minerva McGonagall, in that moment, had wondered what the hell she had gotten herself into by being Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore's wife to be.
