I wrote this on a set of message boards with my step-dad and I'm posting it here.

SG-1 Takes Over Guild Wars!

Jack: Carter?!?!

Sam: Yes sir?

Jack: Why do I look like I'm in World of Warcraft?

Sam: Uhh, your guess is as good as mine, sir. I just blow up suns.

Jack: Riiight. Daniel?

Daniel: Well, judging by the text on this pillar and the order in which the symbols appear, which actually look almost aramaic... Oh, I should take pictures. Um, yah, anyway, now that I'm really looking at it, it's definitely a Latin derivative, so maybe it's an Ancie--

Jack: AHT!

Daniel: But Jack, I think-

Jack: AHT AHT! Simple words!

Daniel, dropping his head in defeat: It IS a video game, Jack. Guild Wars, by the look of it.

Jack: Uhh, how did you know that?

Daniel: I'm not always sitting around with my nose in a book, Jack. I just do that when you walk in...

Jack, making like Mr. Burns: Ah... Exxxcellent. Well, since we're here... Hey Teal'c! How about we go do some recon? Maybe gank a few noobs, get some ph4t l3wt?

Teal'c: Indeed.

A few hours later

Jack: Carter?

Sam: Yes sir?

Jack: Explain to me HOW we got stunk in a video game?

Daniel: It's not just a video game, Jack. It's an MMORPG.

Jack: A WHAT?

Daniel: Massivley Multi-player, Online, Role-Playing Game. Like World of Warcraft or Everquest.

Teal'c: Or Toontown?

Daniel: Yes, Toontown too. Wait, do you play Toontown?

Teal'c: I am not always kel'no'reeming when you think I am.

Jack: What's Toontown?

Daniel: A Disney MMORPG.

Jack: Disney, isn't that Mickey Mouse?

Daniel: YES it is, Jack.

Sam: It's fun too, but not as much fun as City of Heroes.

Jack: City of Heroes is FUN! I played that.

Sam: I know, sir. We play together and plot how to embarrass Hammond most.

Daniel: You both play City of Heroes?

Sam: And Star Wars Galaxies. Even though it is not based in actual science.

Jack: Carter! WE'RE not based in actual science, either.

Daniel: So, we're fiction?

Jack: Technically, science fiction.

Sam: But you just said we're not based in actual science!

Jack: I don't make the rules, I just follow them!

Teal'c: Does anybody remember my Star Wars password? I want to play my Ewok.
