"Frederick Weasley! What in the hell happened to you," Katie Bell exclaimed, jumping up from her game of exploding snap with George.
George snickered. "Alright, my job's done. I've kept Katie here busy. Night!"
"Kept me busy? What's going on Fred," Katie asked impatiently.
"Well- you see- I kind of," Fred stuttered under Katie's irate and expectant glare.
"Spit it out Weasley or you'll be in a worse state than you already are," Katie said.
Oh my, what a state he was in already! His red hair was ruffled and eyes wild. Blood stained the bottom of his nose and bottom lip.
"Fine I got into a row," Fred muttered, clearly trying to drop the subject.
"With who? What reason do you have to fight someone," Katie demanded incredulously. No one in their right mind would pick a fight with Fred Weasley.
"I got in a fight with Davies alright," Fred asked, blushing fiercely.
Katie's brown eyes widened, Roger Davies? That was her ex boyfriend of one day. He ended it only yesterday and left her in a state.
"Why did you do that," Katie asked gingerly, taking a seat next to him on the couch.
"He made you cry," Fred answered simply, he was avoiding eye contact by staring into the fire.
"Besides no one makes my friends cry! In addition to waking up in the hospital wing he'll find some puking pastilles in his breakfast tomorrow morning."
Katie grinned at her friend and hugged his arm. "You're a great friend Fred."
She quickly leaned up and kissed him on his freckled cheek. "Good night!" With that she ran up to her fifth year dorm.
Fred touched his cheek and smiled widely, but it quickly turned to a frown. "Yup, I'm a great friend".

Poor Fred! I might make a second chapter to this but I doubt it. The only things that would drive me to do so are reviewers that want me to and the fact that I hate leaving Fred heartbroken. I also might write a prequel sort of- just Fred finding Katie crying about Roger.
The song that the lyrics are from (Think Twice by Eve 6) is amazing and you should definitely listen to it!
