Ok so this is my first time posting a story here on , but um I hope you like my story. This would be the 2nd fan fiction I've written, my first story is on Wattpad. Anyway because nobody reads these anyways, here's my story.

Chapter 1

Lucy's POV

Waking up this morning I have a feeling it will be a good day; it's just those feeling that you get in your gut that screams TRUST ME! So with this good feeling, I gazed out my window, only to be blinded by the sun rays shining through. After adjusting to the intense light I can see my drapes gently shifting in the light breeze coming through. Looking around my room that looks illuminated in the early morning light, everything just looked slightly oranger 'if that's even a word' I thought. I look over next to me thinking I'll have to kick someone out of my bed again. Surprisingly the bed was empty though the spot was warm.

"He must have left early." True I say I like to sleep alone, but what no one knows is that I enjoy waking up next the pink haired freak.

I get out of bed and grab my clothes for the day, I chose my regular attire, and a towel and head for the bathroom. After my bath I go the kitchen to make some breakfast. Just some toast with cinnamon and sugar. With the toast in my mouth I grab my keys and whip and leave my apartment.

Outside the sun is shining strongly. I bolt down the cobblestone roads, basically lodging the toast down my throat. The world just seemed to be in a good mood, if that was possible. I slowed to walk, seeing I was almost at the guild. Upon entering I was bombarded by an over excited Natsu. "Lucy, Let's go on a mission!"

After blinking a few times I smile at him. "Sure."

"YES!" He shouts with excitement. He turns around and yells "Guys she said yes!" "No, you flame brain, you said yes. She said sure." Gray exclaims annoyed. "What did you say, ice princess?!" retorted Natsu.

In the blink of an eye they were pressed up to each others faces yelling insults at each other. I look over at Erza and Lisanna. 'Wait is Lisanna coming?' I asked myself. I watch as Erza menacingly walks towards the boys. I sneak pass to Lisanna. "They're going to get it bad aren't they?" Lisanna asked without looking over at me. "Yup… So are you coming?" I asked her a lot cheerer. "Ya, I hope you don't mind?" "No, of course not!" I say/yell trying to reassure her.

"… You will not be fighting on this trip do you understand!?" Erza screamed. That's when our attention was redirected at the now beat up mages. "Aye" was all they said. Lisanna and I burst out laughing.

"Hey, have we gotten a mission request yet?" I asked the group. "Ya, I got it here." Erza spoke, walking over. I take the paper and read it over.

HELP!

Our town is being terrorised by a heard of Vulcans.

They're very powerful.

We will pay 500,000J

Please help us!

Read the paper. "Wow that's a lot" I say amazed, "There must be a lot of them." "Ya but we can totally handle it! Ya! I'm all fired up!" Natsu exclaimed throwing his head back, spewing fire out of his mouth.

"Well then, I'm going home to go pack." I say making my way to the door. "Meet us at the train station in 1 hour." Erza stated. "Alright see you then" I wave good bye and walk out the door.

*skip to the train*

"Do we have toooo~" Natsu whined. Team Natsu, Lisanna and I are standing on the train platform "Natsu you say this all the time" I say sternly looking at Natsu, who looks up at me a little green. "But Luuuusshhie~" "come on Natsu it's only a 2 hour train ride." I explain with sympathy. Natsu then drapes his body onto me. "Carry me~" "Natsu get off me! You're heavier than you look!" I turn to see who can help get this lug off of me, and I spotted Gray. "Gray!" He looks up from the latest Sorcery Weekly, "hmmm." "Help?" I motion to the green slayer.

We were distracted by the train that FINALLY pulled into the station. After all the clicks and clanks that sounded, passengers piled off the train, I look back to Gray. "Naw, it looks like you got that under control." He says slipping onto the train after Erza. "Jerk." I say under my breath. Then I feel some of Natsu's wait shifted, I look over to see Lisanna under Natsu's left arm. "I'll help you with him." Lisanna smiles over at me. I smile back "thanks Lisanna." And we shuffle Natsu onto the train after our friends.

We lay Natsu onto one of the seats, so it looks like he's half on the seat and half off, with about 2 foot length hanging out in the isle. Just so there's enough room for a person to sit in front of him. "I'm going to go get something to eat anybody want anything?" Lisanna asks everyone. A choir of no's were heard, and with that she headed to the dinning car. "Luuuussshhhie~" moaned a nauseated Natsu. "Ya, ya, give me a sec." I tell him as I'm putting mine and his things into storage.

I take a seat next to him, just as I sit down his head lands into my lap. I sigh and place my hand on his head, and gaze out the window. The train then jerks into motion. Unconsciously my hand weaves its way through his hair.

After some time Lisanna comes back with a hot dog in hand. She looks into the cart to find a seat to sit. Taking the spot next to Erza, closest to the isle, she asks. "Does that happen often?" I look over towards her than down at Natsu, passed out in my lap.

"Yaaa~" I say kinda sheepishly at her. "Does it get annoying?" she asks. You can hear the slight irritating in her voice. 'Way would she be irritated by this?' "Well I just got use to it, I guess." I explain to her. "Oh I see…" she says quietly thinking almost so I can't hear her. 'I wander what this is about… Wait does she like Natsu?!' I look over to Lisanna to see her deep in thought. I look back out the window seeing that the train rides past the Heartfilia estate. 'I should make a plan to visit that place again.'

*Skip to end of train ride*

"I don't feel so well~" Natsu moaned. "I'll be ok Natsu." Lisanna said trying to cheer him up. "Erza, where are we supposed to go?" Gray asks nonchalantly. "The mayors' house." Erza says sternly. We all made our way to the mayors' house in silence. During that time Natsu recovered from his motion sickness.

The mayors' house is larger than the other homes here, but it's nothing to get yourself worked up about. It's fenced off from the surrounding houses. You can tell the lawn has been freshly cut, and the rose bushes trimmed to shape. Walking up the drive, getting closer to the house, you're able to see that the paint is peeling of the walls. What once looked like an Egg Shell White now looks like Creamed Butter.

When we reach the door, Erza knocks. We could hear the bell echoing from the inside, and then with all the humour, you can hear the fast movement of small feet from the 2nd floor hallway, down the stairs, and up to the door. We all give a little snicker before the door opens up.

There standing in the door way is a short pudgy man; he has sandy blond hair and green eyes. He is wearing a tux, to show he is the mayor. "Are you all from Fairy Tail?" the mayor asked us. "Ya we are! And here to kick some but!" Natsu exclaimed lifting his flaming fist in front of his face.

Jumping slightly from the outburst he smiles brightly. We all show him our Fairy Tail insignia, and introduce ourselves. "I'm Lucy." "My name's Lisanna." "Yo, I'm Natsu." "Gray." "Erza is my name." the mayor shakes all our hands, "then please come in." the mayor says, and politely steps to the side so we can enter his house.

His house is simple; when you first come in there is a coat rack and shoe place. Walking down the hallway there is a painting of running horses. 'I've always liked horses' I thought to my self. I stop to admire the painting. "What do you think?" I hear the mayor come up behind me. I look over at him, then back to the painting that covers nearly the entire top half of the wall.

"It's stunning." I say amazed. Then everyone else in the hall turns to see the painting. "Majestic creatures they are." Erza chimed in. I can feel someone's eyes on my, I look over to the others and see Natsu looking. He smiles brightly at me, and I return the smile.

We continue down the hall and make a left into what I assume is the living room. The walls are painted Sea Foam green and the carpet is a Tawny Brown the room is decorated with a book case that covers the whole right wall, a hearth and a mantle on the farthest wall, and a seating area to the left, with a big window with plants on the sill. Because the sun is directed through the window, the room doesn't need a light.

"Have a seat." The mayor gestured to the seating area. There is a couch and a love seat, and a mahogany and glass table set between them. The mayor takes his seat on the love seat with Erza next to him while Natsu, Gray, Lisanna and I try to fit ourselves onto the couch. It ended up Gray on the left arm next to him was Lisanna, me then Natsu.

"So what's the hap's pop?" Natsu asks like he's known the man for years. I elbow him in the side for his lack of formality. "Ow." Natsu says under his breath. "Well there's this big heard of Vulcan that nobody can get ride of. They live in the mountain side to the east of this town. They come in knocking over market stands, and stealing our towns and traveling woman."

"That's terrible." Lisanna says a little saddened. "We're defiantly here to help Mr. Mayor." Hear can slight anger in Grays voice. I look out the window behind us, and see the sun slowly setting. "Of course tomorrow, after a good nights rest." I say still looking out the window. Natsu turns to disagree with me, but stops, and looks out side with me. "Lucy's right. It's getting late." "Alright we'll go to a hotel and head out tomorrow morning." Erza says like she's giving orders.

"Thank you Fairy Tail." The mayor says with dramatic tears. "Don't worry about it." Natsu says smiling.

Finally we all leave the mayors' house to find a hotel. "There's a hotel two streets over." The mayor informs us. "Thank you." We all reply. I'm walking beside Lisanna on the way over, and she's looking around trying to find something. "Hey Lisanna what are you looking for?" I ask her. She looks shocked, like she didn't know I was there to begin with. "Oh, you know a store I wanted to check out!' she says trying to wave it off. 'Lisanna has been acting strange lately.'

We get to the hotel and check out two rooms, one for Natsu and Gray and one for us girls. "Rooms 213 and 214, on the 2nd floor." "Thank you." Erza says taking the keys and leading us up the stair to the second floor. On the second floor we walk down a series of hallways, till we start to get into the 2 hundreds. Upon reaching our rooms Erza hands Gray their room key and keeps the other for our room. "Be up for 8am sharp" Erza informs and enters the room without waiting for a response.

When we enter the room there is a bathroom to the immediate right, next to that there's a small kitchen like area, and a place for shoes to the left. Walking further in there's a desk with a lamp, and two beds, meaning two of us will need to share. "Lucy share with me." Erza demands. "Ok!" I cheer. 'I haven't had a girl sleep over in a while.'

We set our things on the beds we planed to sleep in tonight, and turn on a few of the lamps. I take my bath soaps and my pyjama's out of my bag and head for the bathroom. "Does anyone need the bathroom before I take my bath?" I ask the girls. Both of them shake their head no. I smile and nod to them, and make my way into the bathroom. I set my clean clothes on the counter and I set my soaps up on the tubs lip. I lean over the tub for the faucet and start the water, hot, but not to hot. When the tub reaches half way, I put the bubbles in and start to undress myself. After my bath, I put my pyjamas on, a loose top and some caprice's. They match each other, they are blue with stars falling from the top and fading away as they get to the bottom.

I exit the bathroom and immediately I was targeted with a pillow. Luckily I ducked before I could get hit. Anger boiling in me I look around trying to find the culprit. Apparently the rage could be seen on my face, because everyone looked slightly startled. "Who threw that?" I demand through gritted teeth. Everyone points to Natsu, who he and Gray happen to be there.

"Natsu~" I say with my bangs covering my eyes and an evil aura emitting off of me. I slowly crouch down to pick the pillow off the floor, the very one that nearly hit me. "Come here~" I say in a teasing tone, and a smile on my face. He looks like he's gotta poo, he looks that scared right now. He vigorously shakes his head no and takes a step back everyone else in the room follow in pursuit.

"Fine." I say snarling lifting my head showing my eyes, which hold a burning fire for vengeance. I give off a battle cry and sprint off in Natsu's direction. He takes off running sweating so bad it's flying off of him. He jumps on then off the bed and around Lisanna. I follow close behind, on the bed, off the bed, around Lisanna. Natsu makes the mistake of heading into the bathroom. I make it through the door before he gets the chance to turn around. "Eeek. Heehee, Luce your funny." He says trying to lighten the mood. And MAN, he is sweating like a horse on the world's hottest day.

Without looking behind me I close the door and lock it just so he can't get away. "Lucy?" Natsu says nervously. I slowly approach him with the pillow. He backs up until he lands on the toilet behind him. "Lucy, I'm sorry! I didn't mean it! It was an accident!" he exclaims thinking I'll let him off easy if he says the right things. "Oh, you will be sorry~" I say slowly. Then I launch at him, just beating the pillow on him as he scrambles up then over to the bath tub area. I smile and go to push him in the tub. But what I wasn't expecting was him taking me with him. Because of the way we fell into the tub, the pillow ended up behind his head.

"Ow." Natsu says quietly. I look up from his chest to look at his face, our faces inches apart. "Are you ok?" I asked worried. He opens his eyes and looks at me, with a slight blush. But I ignore that and reach my hands up to grab his face and move it in different angles to see if there's any damage done. He pulls my hands away from his head, "Luce, I'm fine." He says smiling like an idiot. I smile back. "Ok good, then lets, get out of the tub." I say shifting off of him. Which occurred to me now, exactly how we landed. Me on top of him obviously, but I was between his legs, so each leg was bent up, sorta caging me into him.

I get out of the tub first and help Natsu out. I grab the pillow and hit him once more for good measures. "Hey!" he complains. I walk back over to the door unlock it and we walk out. Erza and them, are in the middle of their own pillow fight. Gray is the first one to notice us come out. "Looks like the two love birds are done their make out sesh'." He states smirking. Natsu and I turn a bright red. I chuck the pillow extremely hard at his face (making him fall onto the floor), for the both of us. "Okay! Bedtime." I say sternly. Everyone agrees with this because of how late it has gotten. After saying good night to the boys, we clean up the pillows.

"So, did you give Natsu a good beating?" Erza asks nonchalantly. Reaching for a pillow I say chuckling, "Ya I did. But then he fell into the tub, pulling me with him." Erza just laughs at this but Lisanna… She looks angry. 'Maybe it's that crush thing.' I think to myself. We finish cleaning up and settle into bed.

I lean over and turn the lamp between the beds off. I roll back over to find a smiling Erza. "We haven't done this in a while." She whispers to me. At first I give her a confused look, but understand right away, and I smile brightly back at her. "I know, I kinda missed it." I whisper back. And we start to lightly giggle, not wanting to disturb Lisanna's sleep. Eventually after calming down, we close our eyes in hopes of falling to sleep.
