Prologue

Vlad Plasmius stared at the twin ghosts, who were clearly considering his offer. They were similar and different, like all twins. Their body shapes were a perfect match, but their hair and eye color were polar opposites.

"Become human? Have you lost it, Plasmius?" Amulet snarls. Out of the two, she was the more attentive and pensive.

Aura was more bubbly and talkative. "It goes against the laws of our world, it's not possible!" Aura howls, thrusting pale fists in the air.

He smirks, "You want it to be, don't you? I have created human bodies. All I need are spirits to inhabit them." He hands over a picture of two teenage bodies, exactly the same yet no personal traits. A blank canvas of human flesh. "Once you inhabit the body, they will meld to look exactly like you and you will retain your ghost powers."

Amulet slits her eyes, observing Plasmius for any sign of a lie. Aura speaks first, "Why us?"

Amulet follows suit, "Are we easy pickings?"

Vlad shakes his head, "No, not at all! You're ability to transform at will makes you invaluable allies. Not only that but you're age appropriate."

Both glare, the power behind their eyes glowing. "You want to use us against the ghost boy."

He nods, "That's all I ask of you. And if you are successful, I offer you to be the heirs of my fortune."

The two share a conversation without speaking for several moments. "Human boys are delectably more warm than ghosts.." Amulet giggles.

Aura swoons, "I wouldn't mind a chance at the ghost boy either, twin. Phantom is pretty sexy!" The twins erupt in laughter until Vlad's impatient cough catches their attention.

"What's the catch?"

Vlad smiles, "All you need to do is win over Amity Park."

"Tch, you're loaded, Plasmius. Why offer us your fortune if we succeed?" Amulet smiles, knowing she had cornered him.

Vlad considers his answer, "I need an heir and rumor has it, you two day dream of being human. Taking over Amity Park won't be as easy as you think it will be. There is risk in this experiment."

The twins stare at each other. "Fine. We're dead anyway."

Blah. I hate when I use dialog to get the point across. But typing out the conversation didn't really give the twins the personality intro they deserve. Avoid the flames and read with your "This is so stupid, it's funny" goggles on. My twin sister from another mister and I recently house sitted and spent our time on Netflix, going through a DP marathon. This is the result.
Oh, and obviously. The twins aren't in the actual show. So guess what? I don't own DP.
