My sister Leah has always had trouble with love. She always gets the short end of the stick thanks to Imprinting, a weird ware wolf tradition that only happens to the luckiest of us all. She was first in love with my ex pack alpha, (long story!)Sam, who imprinted on my cousin Emily and now she sort of was crushing hardcore on Jacob, who had just imprinted on a baby. So shes been pretty torn up lately, even that's an understatement. Its starting to get on my nerves, shes crying at night and shes lucky that its still summer, or else I'd be a wreck when it comes to school. I mean right now as I'm thinking this while laying in bed, i can hear her loud sobbing from the room next door. That's it, I'm telling her like it is.
I walked into her room in a loud stomping way when my stomach dropped. Man, she looked messed up. She quickly had two sniffles when she realized i was there.
"Seth, What are you doing up so late? You start school in two days and your sleeping pattern is going to be messed up if you keep on staying up." She said in hushed tones because my moms room is pretty close.
"Oh please, If i really wanted to sleep at night, id pass out at the drop of a hat. Besides, if I'm up moms definitely up so no need for being quiet all of the sudden" I said harshly which i instantly regretted.
"Im so sorry I've been putting you through all of this seth, but dont worry ill be gone soon" she said with a sad smile on her face.
I walked over so i was sitting on the edge of her bed.
"Gone soon?! Where are you going?! Don't make this be because of me and my sleep Leah"
She smiled at that and said, "Oh no its not, I've just decided that since I'm almost 22, its time for me to pack up and move somewhere sunny"
I leaned in to let her know how serious I was about her leaving, I whispered "But what about the pack?! You cant just leave us! What if the Volturi decides to come"
She laughed quietly,"Oh Seth you know that those filthy bloodsuckers are terrified of us, and the pack is too big for just one girl now. Besides, I cant stand the reeking smell of the bloodsuckers ugly baby"
I frowned and said, "When are you leaving? Does mom and the pack know? Have you told everyone but me"
She nodded at that, and inaudibly whispered,"tomorrow."
At that moment, I was so overcome with rage that i jumped up and stalked out of her room not caring who i woke up or if that was the last time i spoke to her. I quickly Lyed down and forced myself to fall asleep, despite the mood i was in.
