Hello everyone! So this is a Henvy story, that comes from a role play I did with Plumber1899 (on wattpad she is HittheDarkwan). Through role play she got me into the idea of Henvy, since we role play them a lot.

So this is what you need to know. Henry fell in love with Drizella (But Henry calls her Ivy), not Jacinda. When Lady Tremaine finds out that the pair is together, she locks Ivy up in a tower; during which Ivy finds out she is pregnant. So Ivy and her baby live in the tower. The story takes place six years later where Ivy and her and Henry's son Brendon living in the tower. Brendon is five.

I do not own OUAT or its characters, just my imagination.

Home, Always and Forever

"Good morning, my little prince…" Ivy grinned over at five year old Brendon, who was just waking up in the small bed that they both shared, as she prepared breakfast for them.

Brendon grins "Hi mama" he says as he sits up. Not yet ready to get out from under the covers yet.

Ivy laughed, "How did you sleep?"

"Good" Brendon says, looking towards the window. "Mama, is that mean lady coming again?"

"I'm afraid so baby…" Ivy sighs.

Brendon gets down from the bed and walks up to her and nods "she doesn't like me…" he says in a sad honesty, knowing for whatever reason the woman didn't like him.

Ivy frowned, bending down to him. "I don't think that she likes anyone, honey. There was one person, but… she's gone now."

Brendon nods "So what we doing today mama?"

"We could finish that puzzle we've been working on" Ivy raised a eyebrow, "or bake. Maybe play chess…"

Brendon looks towards the window again, then back at his mom "why can't I play outside… like other kids?"

Ivy lifted him into her arms, kissing both of his cheeks. "She forbids it. She doesn't want anyone to find us."

Brendon wraps his arms around her shoulders and rest his head on her shoulder with a sigh "the puzzle then, chess is too hard."

Ivy giggled, holding him for a few more minutes, before putting him down. "Okay. Can you go get the puzzle ready, while I finish making breakfast? We'll eat, and then finish the puzzle."

"Okay…" Brendon says going to the table the puzzle was set up on; dumping the unused pieces out. He smiles at the picture; it was floating lanterns over the water. He then grabs his favorite toy to play with while waiting for breakfast.

Ivy finished breakfast, calling to Brendon, who was playing with his knight figurine and the horse that it came with, "It's time to eat, Brendon."

"Okay…" Brendon says, setting aside his toy.

He came over to the breakfast table after Ivy had finished setting it. "Look, I made eggs, and toast."

Brendon sits down "wow…" his eyes go wide.

"Good?" Ivy chuckled at his reaction.

Brendon nods, taking a bite. "Mama, I'm going to be a knight when I get big…"

"Are you?" Ivy grinned.

"Yeah… then I can protect you."

Ivy chuckled "you'd be the bravest knight in all the realms.

Brendon blushes "was my daddy a knight?"

"No, but he was very brave…" Ivy bit her lip. She'd met Henry while she was originally supposed to be wooing someone else. They'd talked, and she fallen in love with him. Though, soon after learning that he was only a man dressed to look like a prince, Lady Tremaine had forbade them from seeing each other. Ivy and Henry still loved each other, though, leading to the consummation of Brendon. Upon finding out about her pregnancy, Lady Tremaine had locked her daughter in a tower. To make a long story short, Jacinda, her stepsister, had married Henry, and Lady Tremaine taunted her during every visit about the new baby that they had, how she could have been raising Brendon with the man that she still loved.

Brendon beams "but he loved us right?" he asks hopefully, taking a bite of toast.

Ivy bit her lip, not wanting to tell Brendon that his father had no clue that he existed "yes..."

Brendon continues to eat, satisfied with the answer. And so did Ivy.

Meanwhile, Henry is out; needing a break from his wife. She was no Ivy. He missed her, they loved each other, he didn't understand why she just disappeared. He comes across a tower he'd never seen before, he hears a noise from inside, peaking his interest.

Brendon laughs as his mom tickles him "mama" he says between giggles.

Ivy laughs too, kissing his cheeks and doing a funny voice as she demanded, "tell me you love me!"

Brendon laughs, "I love you… I love you mama" he says trying to catch his breath.

Henry gets closer to the tower, still trying to figure out what he heard.

Ivy heard the sound of hooves and stopped, putting Brendon down "baby, do you wanna play hide and seek?" Brendon nods happily. "I hope that you don't choose to hide in the wardrobe… I'd never be able to guess…" Ivy hummed, trying to subtly drop a hint to him.

Brendon grins "count mama."

"I'm going to count in my head, alright?" Ivy asked him "You can count in yours, too, to make sure that I'm doing it right."

Brendon nods, so Ivy covers her eyes to count. Brendon goes to the wardrobe, he grabs his bear off the bed, to keep him company; cause it's dark and that scares him, then climbs in.

Henry circles the tower, seeing no door. He stops where there is a mess of vines climbing all the way up. He checks they feel strong. He starts to climb. It weirdly doesn't take long, before he gets to the window and goes in.

Ivy is holding a frying pan and hiding in a dark corner of the tower "I… I have a weapon."

"My… my name is Henry. I swear… I'm not here to hurt anyone…"

"Henry what?" Ivy asked cautiously, starting to feel hopeful, but keeping that at bay.

"What does that matter?" Henry asks.

Brendon meanwhile, hugs his bear waiting for his mama to find him.

"I knew a Henry…" Ivy responded, biting her lip. "I loved a Henry."

Henry starts to wonder "Mills… Henry Mills."

Ivy gulped, voice small as she asked "H-Henry…?"

Henry sees a figure come from the shadows "Ivy…?" it looked like his Ivy, just shorter hair.

"Henry!" Ivy ran to hug him.

Henry hugs her back tight, burying his face in her neck. They stayed like that for a minute or two. Then he pulls away. "What the hell happened, you just disappeared?"

"Mother locked me away" Ivy began, then remembered Brendon, and rushed over to the wardrobe to lift him-along with his bear- into her arms, soothingly stroking his hair. "Thank you for being mama's brave little knight…"

Henry watches confused.

"Mama" Brendon cries in tears, it never takes her that long to find him.

"I'm sorry baby…" Ivy kissed his hair. "You had such a good hiding place. It was so hard for me to find you."

"Who's this?" Henry asks.

Brendon just holds onto Ivy tighter, at seeing the stranger.

Ivy looked back at Henry, remembering her mother, "my son. Henry, she's going to be here any minute. She already promised me that she'd hurt you or Brendon if I ever tried to leave. If she sees you here…" Ivy bit her lip, realizing that she'd said to much.

"Wait, why would she…?" Then it dawns on Henry "he's mine, isn't he?"

Brendon starts to whimper at the mention of her.

Ivy bit her lip, not responding, at first, rubbing soothing circles on Brendon's back. "Brendon, this is my… friend, Henry. Remember, I was telling you about him?"

"He makes stories…?" Brendon asks.

"Mhm," Ivy nodded her head, kissing his cheek, "Just like you."

At that moment Henry didn't need her to answer he already knows. "How can I help?" he asks sincerely.

"You can't" Ivy shook her head profusely, nearly crying. She'd just found Henry again, and losing him again wasn't a very appealing option, but it was the only one. "You have to get out of here. Now. Please, she'll…"

Henry stops her with a kiss "I will be back" he says before going out the window.

Ivy hesitated, sighing shakily, before speaking to Brendon, "lets finish that puzzle, love…"

Brendon shakes his head no, still upset "Story?"

"Okay…" Ivy relented, carrying him over to their bed and getting under the covers with him.

Brendon cuddle close, "a happy one… before she comes" he says.

Ivy kissed his head, holding him close to her and beginning to tell him on of the happier stories about her and Henry- leaving other names in place of their own names, of course.

Brendon smiles at the story, but then a wind blows into the tower.

Ivy held Brendon close to her, comforting him, "it's okay…"

The room fills with a red smoke, Lady Tremaine appearing.

Brendon turns so he can't see her.

Ivy tucked him into bed, before standing up, "Hello, Mother."

"Hello Drizella" Tremaine says, handing her a basket. "What is with the little brat, can't say hi to his grandmother?"

"He's sleeping" Ivy bit her lip.

Tremaine rolls her eyes "I brought more supplies. Along with the art stuff you requested" she says eyeing the basket, then running her finger along a shelf finding dust, and she is disgusted by it.

"I haven't gotten around to cleaning today" Ivy blushed, taking the basket from her mother, before thanking her.

Tremaine hums, "I take it you still are well?" she says clapping her hands together not wanting to touch anything.

Brendon is in the bed, quietly sniffling wanting her to leave.

Ivy nodded, walking over to sit on the bed, hoping to offer Brendon some form of comfort.

Brendon takes her hand under the covers.

"Alright… I will be back in two days. Is there anything you need me to bring?"

"No, ma'am" Ivy shook her head.

With a nod of her head, the room fills with red smoke, Lady Tremaine leaving them.

Ivy quickly scoops up Brendon, holding him close to her, rubbing his back "I love you…"

"I love you too" Brendon sniffles. After a couple minutes, he calms down "what's a brat mama?"

"Something you are not" Ivy relied, stroking his cheek.

Brendon nods, laying his head under her chin. He brings his thumb to his mouth, a nervous habit.

Ivy sighed, leaning back in bed with him. Not even a minute later Brendon is asleep. Ivy laid him in bed, kissing his head, before beginning to clean about the tower.

It had been a few hours so Henry cautiously goes back to the tower. He gets to the window, and sees the boy asleep, and enters as quietly as possible.

Ivy came over to him, kissing him passionately, before pulling away and smiling. "That's for earlier… I never got to return it. I missed you so much…" she rested her forehead against his.

Henry smiles, at her grin "I missed you too. So much."

"You still can't be here," Ivy pulled away from him with wide eyes "She'll come back. She'll come back and-"

"Hey… calm down" Henry says taking her hands "we will figure this out."

"I just… I want you two to be safe. And what about Jacinda and Lucy and…?

"How do you know about them?" Henry asks.

"Mother…" Ivy bit her lip. "Every day, she'd taunt me. I knew about them through her."

"I'm truly sorry Ivy… I wanted more than anything to wait for you. I don't regret Lucy, but I still love you."

Ivy nodded "I still love you too…"

Henry looks over at Brendon "what's his name?"

"Brendon…" Ivy smiled as she stared at the boy.

"He seems perfect. Tell me about him?" Henry asks, not taking his eyes off Brendon.

Ivy grinned "He is perfect. Looks just like you. He likes to write and do puzzles. He's sweet, shy, and charming. He's been what's kept me going through all of this."

"I'm glad you had him. Your mother hated me that much… to do this?"

"It was you and me" Ivy shrugged, speaking softly. "She was disappointed that I didn't fall in love with a prince. She was even more disappointed when I had a child out of wedlock."

Henry looks down and shakes his head "God… none of that is her choice" he says getting worked up.

Brendon wakes up, seeing Henry "mama?"

"Hi, baby…" Ivy walked over to him, sitting on the bed and brushing some hair from his eyes "Did you have a good nap?"

Brendon rubbed at his eyes and nodded "he came back?" he whispers, not wanting Henry to hear.

Ivy nodded "Yes… and I think he would really like to get to know you. Will you talk to him if mama stay's here?"

Brendon nods, crawling into her lap.

"Author…" Ivy spoke to Henry in a gentle tone, trying to calm him down, and make him face her.

Henry comes over, after a minute; and sits at the foot of the bed "Hi buddy…"

"Hi…" Brendon whispered softly as he leaned against Ivy's chest, glancing at Henry skeptically, "are you mama's friend?"

"Yeah, I am… I would like to be yours too."

"Okay," Brendon declared, rising up slightly. "She talks about you a lot. In dreams, sometimes too."

Ivy blushed.

Henry smiles "does she now?"

"You, little man" Ivy pressed her forehead to Brendon's gently "are supposed to be sleeping when I'm sleeping."

Brendon giggled, nodding at Henry "mhm. She talks about you more then she talks about my daddy. She just says that he was brave and I look like him, sometimes."

Ivy smiled, moving her forehead from Brendon's.

Henry smiles at Ivy, then turns his attention back to the boy. "Your… mama tells me you like to make up stories?"

Brendon nodded. "Mama tells me stories about Riley and Harry, sometimes. I make my own stories about them." Ivy told him every good story about Henry and herself, but changed that names to Harry and Riley.

Henry goes into his bag, and pulls out a tablet of paper and pencils "maybe, you can start writing them down" he says handing Brendon the stuff.

"Woah!" Brendon grinned, taking the stuff.

"What do we say, Brendon?" Ivy chided her son, who turned his grin to Henry.

"Thank you!" Brendon grins.

"Your welcome buddy" Henry says, he then looks to Ivy to see if it was okay.

Ivy nodded, smiling encouragingly at him.

"Besides Harry and Riley, what other stories do you make up?"

"About the sun…" Brendon shrugged, voice going quite, as he hadn't told Ivy about his recent stories yet. "And me and my daddy…"

Ivy stared at him in alarm.

"What about you and your daddy?"

Brendon grinned "We're knights! We save mama from the tower and protect her from the mean lady. Mama and daddy fall in love again, too… mama says they were in love before. She still loves him."

Ivy bit her lip as she looked at Henry from the corner of her eye.

Henry swallows the lump in his throat, "that sounds like a excellent story Brendon."

"It does" Ivy whispered as Brendon beams.

"I hope it comes true" Brendon declared.

"Brendon, will it be okay if I talk to your mama a minute, just us?"

Brendon nodded, giving Henry a hug. "Hugs are what friends do."

Henry hugs him back and kisses his head. "Yes they do." He says, he lets Brendon go, then he and Ivy walk away.

"I don't want anyone to get hurt" Ivy whispered to Henry, starting the conversation. "If we stay here, no one-"

"I know Ivy… she threatened us. We can figure something out. My mom, Regina, she can help…"

"I just want to go home…" Ivy's lip trembled slightly.

Henry pulls her into a hug and kisses her forehead "I PROMISE you, I will make this right Ivy, for you and Brendon. Okay?"

Ivy nodded, wrapping her arms around him tightly.

Brendon walks over "What's wrong mama?"

Ivy pulled away from Henry, bending down to Brendon and admitting, "mama's… sad, baby."

Brendon wraps his arms around her neck "why?"

"Because… this tower… it isn't all that there is," Ivy kissed his nose, lifting him into her arms. "Since you were born, mama's tried to pretend that there was nothing else but the tower, but… there isn't."

"That's why I can't go outside?"

Ivy nodded, sniffling.

Brendon looks at his mommy a moment. He leans in kissing her nose, like she does him and pushes her hair behind her ear "it's okay mama…" he says resting their foreheads together.

Ivy smiled "I'm sorry baby… for not being strong."

"You are mama… you're my mama, my hero."

Ivy didn't feel like much of a hero, but she held Brendon close to her, anyway.

Henry comes up behind her, and kisses her temple, so she knows he's there still too.

"You're the bestest mama…" Brendon whispers, rubbing her arm.

Ivy laughed, kissing his cheek, "no, I think that's you." She told him. "Such a brave little knight" Ivy grinned.

Brendon beams at his mommy's compliment.

Then all the sudden red smoke fills the room, Lady Tremaine appearing.

Brendon's mood changes completely , lip trembling.

"You…" Tremaine says to Henry and Ivy.

Ivy sets Brendon down, pushing him behind her, stroking his hair. "What are doing here, mother?" she tried to ask casually.

Brendon holds onto her hand as well as one of Henry's.

"I had a feeling… and it seems like I was right. You stupid, selfish girl…" Tremaine starts.

"Hey" Henry yells "you have no right…" but Tremaine freezes him.

"Mother" Ivy's voice shook.

Brendon holds onto Ivy tighter.

"I thought you loved them Ivy… your little brat especially?" Tremaine says.

"I am not a little girl anymore, mother" Ivy tried to fight with her words "You can't control me."

With a flick of the wrist Tremaine has Brendon in her arms, well more like her arms around his waist.

Brendon cries, scared "mama!"

"You send that useless man away… now. And I will act like this never happened. If you don't… you will never see this little bastard again…"

Ivy bit her lip, nodding her head as she pleaded. "Please… I'll be good."

"You have one chance…" Tremaine says, unfreezing Henry.

Henry is about to take a swing, when he sees Brendon in her arms.

"You have to leave…" Ivy turned to Henry.

"But Ivy…" Henry pleads.

"If you stay, she hurts Brendon," Ivy sighed, shaking her head. "I don't know what else to do."

Henry looks at her mother and son "Okay… for Brendon" Henry says, leaving but not before he says "I love you Ivy" and he goes out the window.

Tremaine lets Brendon go. And Brendon runs straight to her, visible shaken from fear.

The room fills with red smoke again, Tremaine disappears.

Ivy lifts him up, wrapping her arms around him protectively.

Hihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihhhhhhhihihihihihihihihihihihi

One year later

"Shh…" Ivy soothed, stroking six year old Brendon's hair and holding him closer to her as they both lay in bed after he'd had yet another nightmare.

Brendon holds his bear close and has a fist full of her nightgown. "She left with me this time…"

"You're safe here," Ivy kissed his head. She still missed Henry every single day, but was glad that her son was safe. Still, had Henry given up on both of them? "Mama's right here…"

"She kept calling me… a um… bastard." Brendon says starting to calm down.

Ivy held him closer "Baby… she doesn't know what she's talking about."

"Is it something bad?" Brendon asks, getting the impression that it was.

Ivy nodded, biting her lip "But don't listen to her."

Brendon bites his lip and crawls from the bed, going for the tablet Henry gave him. Then goes back to bed "I wrote a new story mama…"

"Did you?" Ivy grinned, kissing his cheek. "I'd love to hear it."

Brendon starts to tell her the tale of he and his daddy; saving her from a dragon, bringing her home, to their family. But there is a new added twist he never had before. A baby brother.

"A baby brother?" Ivy teased, nudging him playfully. "Ooooh, tell me more."

Brendon beams "He's a brave knight like me and daddy. But he can't fight yet. Cause he hasn't been out of your belly long. And he has your shiny hair mama, and our hazel eyes."

Ivy sighed, wrapping her arms around him as she thought about having that one day, "That sounds perfect, Brendon. What's his name?"

"Matty" Brendon says.

"Matty?" Ivy beamed at him.

Brendon nods "I'm six, I don't know names."

Ivy giggled, kissing his cheek.

Brendon grins, cuddling close and before long he is happily in dream land.

Not long after a purple smoke appears. Regina standing there says "Ivy?"

"Regina!" Ivy stood up in alarm, rushing over to hug her. "What are you doing here?"

Regina hugs her tightly. "Me and Henry are working on getting you out of here… you and my grandson" she beams "He wanted you to know."

"Thank you so much" Ivy smiled, pulling away from her. "Thank you SO much…"

Regina cups her face and kisses her forehead "It's my pleasure dear. Henry… He and Jacinda are done, she… is being difficult about Lucy. He needs you guys…"

"Tell him that I love him…" Ivy told her with a smile, "and that I'll see him soon. We both will. Tell him that I've been getting his letters, too."

Regina nods "I will… I better go. Just hang in there Ivy." She gives a smile and purple smoke surrounds her and she's gone.

A few weeks later

"Here we go, baby…" Ivy spoke as she walked over to the bed, putting the cool rag atop Brendon's head to calm his fever. He had gotten sick recently, but Lady Tremaine still hadn't come to them.

Brendon coughs "I hate this mama…"

"I know, baby" she stroked his cheek, "she'll be back soon…" or their rescue party would be here soon, she hoped.

"I'm hot… cold. And my head hurts and…" Brendon turns and starts grabbing for the bucket and throws up again, making tears up.

Ivy rubbed his back soothingly.

Brendon finishes emptying his stomach and sniffles; he grabs for his water and rinsed out his mouth. "Mama…" he says, holding his arms out wanting to be held.

Ivy held him, "it's okay baby…"

Brendon rest his head on her shoulder. He starts to hum a song, it was the one his daddy played for mama, 'only you.' "Can you sing it to me mama?"

"Sure, buddy…" Ivy cleared her throat, beginning to sing.

Then Henry appears without her noticing "and all I ever knew… only you" he sang along with her.

Ivy turned to face him, smiling widely, but with Brendon still in her arms. "Henry!" she says, standing up.

Henry rushes over and hugs them, feeling the heat from Brendon "why is he so warm?"

"He's been ill for a few days now…" Ivy mumbled, hugging him back tightly. "Oh my gosh, I love you so much…"

Henry kisses her "I love you guys too." He says smoothing down Brendon's hair. "Mom is taking care of Lady Tremaine…" he says taking Brendon from her arms "grab anything important…"

Ivy kissed Brendon's head, kissing Henry once more, before going to do so. There isn't much to pack- mostly stuff of Brendon's, like his bear, drawings or stories and the puzzle that he would be upset if they didn't finish.

Henry watches her gather stuff. "It's okay buddy" he whispers when Brendon whimpers.

Brendon looks up "Henry?"

Henry nods "I'm getting you and your mama out of here."

Brendon holds onto him in a hug.

Ivy gathered the little stuff that Brendon had and walked over to them, stroking Brendon's hair "let's get out of here."

Henry nods. Using the special device Regina gave him, after telling Ivy to hold on; he transports them to a quite cottage.

Ivy took Brendon into her arms, leaning into Henry and chuckling. "You can open your eyes now, little man."

Brendon does lifting his head "woah, this looks like something from a fairytale book…"

Henry grins "this is ours… I'm going to send word to mom to bring a doctor."

"It's our's?" Ivy glanced at Henry in shock. "Oh, Henry-"

"I promised you a cottage right… that night? With mini us running around?"

Ivy let Brendon down after hugging him tightly, giving him his toys, "go check it out, buddy."

Brendon takes the toys, he walks towards the cottage, not able to run yet.

"You like?" Henry asks.

Ivy turned to kiss him, wrapping her arms around his neck.

Henry kisses her back, "That's a yes, then?" he says with a laugh.

"Yes" Ivy giggled "and a 'I love you', if you want to put that in there too" she teased.

"I'm sorry it took so long…" Henry says kissing her again. "I love you. Now why don't you check on Brendon. I will send my mom word for a doctor."

Ivy nodded, going into the cottage, "Bren?"

Brendon walks from a bathroom wiping at his face "I got sick again."

"That's okay…" Ivy told Brendon, kneeling down to him. "Guess what, buddy?"

"What?"

"We can do anything we want now. Go wherever we want to."

Brendon smiles "Really?"

"Yeah, baby… really" Ivy beamed.

"Mama, is Henry my daddy?"

Ivy laughed, "Where did you get that?"

"He knew you and daddy's special song…"

"Well…" Ivy raised eyebrow "what would you think if he was?"

"He's nice, and he makes you happy" Brendon starts with a shrug "and he saved us. He sounds like my daddy."

Ivy smiled, "he is."

Brendon gets closer to Ivy hugging her "we can be a family then?"

"Yep" Ivy nodded, kissing his cheek.

Henry walks in "what do you guys think?"

Brendon smiles "We're home…"

Hihihihihihihihihihihihihiihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihi

Two years later

"Looking good, Henry" Ivy remarked as she watched Henry build the crib in the nursery, then teased, "and the nursery looks pretty alright too."

Henry grins as he and Brendon are trying to build the crib. Lovingly looking at his heavily pregnant wife, who just hit eight months last week. "You're not so bad yourself."

"Why, thank you…" Ivy smiled, hand on her belly. "I think the bump really sets off my eyes" she teased, making Brendon giggle.

"I think it makes you happy mama…" Brendon explains.

"It does" Ivy smirked, "so do my boys."

"We love you too… right bud?" Henry asks.

"I always loved mama" eight year old Brendon says.

Ivy grinned, going over to kiss both of them- Brendon on the head, Henry on the lips.

Brendon gets up, and puts his hand on her belly "your belly is hard mama."

"That's to protect the baby" Henry tells him.

"I think the baby like you Bren," Ivy chuckled as the baby kicked Brendon's hand.

Brendon smiles and hugs his mom from the side. "I can't wait to meet them…" Brendon says feeling more of the kicks.

"Me, either," Ivy declared.

Henry smiles, then stands up the crib, "it's finished" he says in victory, raising his hands.

Ivy grinned, looking it over "nice job, you two."

Henry walks and kisses her "Now… we just have to wait for the little one to come."

"Little one's taking their own sweet time, believe me…" Ivy mumbled "but I'm actually glad, you know. Brendon was born early…"

Henry kisses her head "I'm so sorry you were alone babe…"

Ivy shrugged "It wasn't your fault, and you are here now."

"I know, now I wish Lucy could be here" Henry says with a sigh.

Ivy wrapped her arms around Henry's neck "I know babe, soon, we will get her here soon, I promise you that."

A few weeks later

Henry sits down next to Ivy on the bed and happily looks at their younger son, who has Ivy's dark locks "what should we name him?"

Ivy chuckled, "it's sort of silly…"

Henry raises a eyebrow "what?" he asks confused.

"Brendon has a story about you and I giving him a little brother named Matty…" she grinned.

"Matty…" Henry tries out, then smiles, "I like it. It's not all uptight or stiff like Mathew."

"He doesn't look like a Mathew…" Ivy agreed as she stared down at the baby.

"Matty Mills" Henry says with a smile and then kisses his head. Henry then stands "I'll go get Brendon… so they can meet" he says kissing Ivy's head.

"Hi" Ivy greeted as Henry led Brendon into the room.

Brendon smiles "Hi mama" he says hugging her carefully.

"Did your dad tell you what we named your brother?"

Brendon shakes his head no, moving closer to look.

"Matty…"

Brendon grins "Like my story?"

"Like your story" Ivy grinned.

Brendon takes Matty's little hand "Hi Matty… I'm your big brother. He has your hair mama, like my story."

"I know buddy" Ivy laughed.

Brendon leans in and kisses her cheek "I love you mama."

"I love you too, Brendon" Ivy beamed.

And from then on, the Mills where truly a family. With their two boys, three years later, they welcomed a little girl, they named Emma, after Henry's birth mom. Henry and Ivy proudly watch their kids grow up, finding true loves of their own, and having kids. But the kids are never far from them, visiting often. Their favorite, is the quite afternoons, just them, sitting in the garden, holding hands while reading books.

One after noon Ivy looks over at Henry "Have I ever told you thank you?"

Henry smiles "for what?"

"Bringing me home?" Ivy says simply.

"It wouldn't be home without you or Brendon. Then, eventually Matty and Emma too. You were always my home Ivy, just took us longer than we thought to get here."

Ivy leans over and kissed Henry "You are the best home I could've ever asked for. You showed me love, gave me three amazing babies. Giving me a life I could only dream of. I'm home cause of you."

"Always and forever?"

Ivy kisses him again, and nods "always and forever."

The End.
