Hi there! I'm Crystalsong from SkyClan. I'll be taking over Minnowsplash for today. I am going to tell you the story of why SkyClan left the Clans and eventually made their home in a gorge, in the form of a song! So settle down, grab a juicy mouse (or two) while I tell this story!
Background
SkyClan's former leader, Duskstar, gave away some of SkyClan's territory to ThunderClan during tough times. After many seasons, When SkyClan was ruled by Cloudstar, twolegs started chopping down trees, destroying SkyClan's territory. The noise made by the twolegs and their monsters also scared away all the prey in SkyClan territory, leaving its cats empty-bellied. Cloudstar tried to defeat the twolegs, but his plan did not work and his cats remained hungry. In the end, Cloudstar begged Redstar, ThunderClan's leader at that time, to give back the piece of territory that was given to them by Duskstar. However, Redstar refused, creating a battle between SkyClan and ThunderClan that eventually led to SkyClan having to leave the Clans and their forest home, forgotten for many seasons. The story that you are about to read (or the song that you are about to hear) now is based on Cloudstar's point of voew during the battle.
