After getting to the digital world, Kouji met a boy named Swartz Takenuchi. "Hey! I'm Swartz Takenuchi! Your Kouji right?" Ignoring the Swartz, Kouji continues to explore the train station. "You could at least answer me... sheesh."" Yea I'm Kouji. How do you know my name?" Swartz laughed. "You'll know soon enough." Swartz walked away without saying anything. "Finally... he was getting annoying..." Later, Kouji met the other digidestined. Takuya, Junpei, Tomoki, and Izumi. They walked into a small town looking for some info about the digital world. "Hey! Kouji!" Turning around, the group saw a boy running up to them. Kouji mumbles, " oh no." "Are u guys looking for a place to stay tonight?" Takuya, taking up the leader's role, says, " Yea! We're definitely looking for places too stay tonight! Who are you anyways?" "I don't know about this Takuya." Junpei says, " I'm with Takuya. What good is wandering around, right Kouji?" "I guess." "Yea. It is getting dark," says Izumi while looking at the sky. " Come on party pooper." Tomoki says. "I'm obviously out numbered." "Alright! Beds and food, here we come!" Takuya shouts.

While they were walking Takuya asked Swartz where they were going. "We're going to my house of course." Takuya continued to talk to Swartz while Junpei flirts with Izumi. Tomoki laughs at them while Kouji walks silently. After getting to Swartz's house, he suddenly runs ahead and turns around yelling, " Execute! Spirit Evolution!" "Drowmon!" Takuya shouts, " What are you doing?!?!" "Come on Takuya! Spirit evolve!" Junpei says while he gets his digivice. Takuya, Junpei, Tomoki, and Izumi spirit evolve and get ready to fight Drowmon. "I'm only fighting Kouji," Drowmon shouts while smiling. "Execute! Spirit evolution!" " Lobomon!" "Bring it on Drowmon!" Agunimon and the others jumped in front of Lobomon saying, " No! You can't do this alone! We have to do this together!" "Get out of the way," Drowmon says while blowing them away with some sort of force. Kazemon, feeling determined, continued to try to block the two guys. "Get out of the way Kazemon," Lobomon says pushing her out of the way. " Hey." Kazemon says but stops short seeing the determination in Lobomon's eyes. Turning to look at Kazemon, Lobomon says, " Let me do this." Turning, Lobomon was hit hard Drowmon's Twin Scimitars. " Gah!" Jumping up, Lobomon fires his Howling Laser. Drowmon easily dodges it while charging at Lobomon. Taking a hit, Lobomon was able to hit Drowmon with his kendo. " .He's strong!" " Slide Evolution! Kendogarurumon!" Charging at Drowmon, Kendogarurumon continues to speed up. Kendogarurumon's speed made him seem like he went through Drowmon. Being behind Drowmon, he hit him in the back. " Ahhh! Not bad." " Hah! I'm just getting warmed up," Kendogarurumon says though not the truth. Jumping up into the sky, Kendogarurumon fires his Lupine Laser. Drowmon easily dodges it again, while throwing his Twin Scimitars. Dodging one forced Kendogarurumon to hit the other. Falling to the ground, Kendogarurumon changes back to Kouji. " Hey. You did good," Swartz says while reaching his hand out. Without saying anything, Kouji stands up. " Ahhhhh!" Looking around Swartz and Kouji see that Takuya, Junpei, and Tomoki already went to the house. " That sounded like Izumi," Swartz says while starting to run in the direction the sound came from. Finding Izumi, Swartz grabs her hand before she falls into a hole dug by some digimon. "Gotcha!" Seeing Kouji nearby, Swartz says, " Umm. Kouji. I could use some help." Mumbling, Kouji walks towards them. Together they are able to get Izumi out of the hole. "Thanks you guys," Izumi says while standing up. "No problem, Izumi," Swartz says while Kouji walks towards Swartz's house.
