The Great Granddaughter of Cinder is about to take the Lunar throne and become just like her mother, a muderous tyrant. All is going according to plan when a handsome young man decides to interfere. Will he change her into the good queen Luna deserves or will she continue her family tyranny.

Chapter One: Until the Stars Die Out

"And she shall be queen till the stars die out."

That was her only memory of her mother's coronation. Well, that and her father's death.

After the crown was placed on her mom's head, the new queen spun around and plunged a dagger into her father's heart. It was all quite dramatic. It's was a good thing Malka had no tolerance for drama, otherwise she would have quite traumatized.

Her mother, know as the queen who never stopped climbing, had finally climbed to the top rung of her ladder. She was the queen of the greatest country known to man, Luna.

Of course her mom walked away still a queen. No one would dare go against her, even if 673,000 people saw her commit the murder.

It didn't much matter to Malka, she would still one day take her mother's place. She would be the person that she'd always dreamed of being.
