Seven years after the war against Humans and Beastmen ended Viral is captured by Team Dai-Gurren, and is sentenced to jail to wait for a trial by Simon and the others.
Day of Trail: Viral stands in the center of the room as the defendant in his case. His hands and feet are in chains to insure that he will not escape. He stands alone on a platform while members of the human government and Team members of Dai-Gurren, whom he had fought against many times, sit comfortably in their seats at a distance away in triumph. Viral feels like an animal in a cage. As the arrogant humans stare at him as a helpless disgusting creature, who they have no respect for.
It. Pisses. Viral. Off.
Simon starts the trial, "The case will now begin. Viral you are charged with war crimes against the government. How do you plead?" Viral stares up at Simon his number one rival of all time. Viral hates having to look up at the naked ape as if he defeated him. Simon never defeated him once. Viral never surrendered to him. His Gunman Enki, after many years of loyal service, finally gave out; and other members of Team Dai-Gurren arrested him. Viral would forever be grateful to Enki for fighting with him for so long. Of course he would NEVER admit that to anyone. Viral smiles showing his shark like teeth and gives Simon his answer, "Plead? I've never 'Pleaded' for anything in my life. How about you plead for your life on your knees." Viral turns the situation against Simon. Giving him a witty comeback. There is no way he is going to go down peacefully. The crowed eruptes with yells of outrage, "How dare he talk like that!" "Kill the beast!" "He has no place here!" "He's a monster!" "Just kill him!"
'Let them yell', Viral thinks, 'Let them hate me. I don't care. They're all idiots. All these humans are idiots. I was protecting humans who didn't want to leave their homes underground. Simon has become just like the Spiral King. Humans are not special just more ignorant. I'm not going to mention the fact that I was helping humans. Their not letting me go no matter what I say, so there's no point. But, if I'm going down then I'm going as witty as I can. But honestly, I just want to piss them off.'
"Order! Order in this courtroom!" Simon quiets the room down, "Viral for your crimes against the government I sentence you to be executed." Viral is so shocked by Simon's verdict that he can't hold it in.
He bursts out laughing uncontrollably.
Viral laughs so hard he can't stand strait. He squats to his knees. The chains rattle as he moves. Viral knows the humans in the room are all shocked at his reaction. They probably think he has gone mad. Viral finally gets control of his laughter and stands back up. Still giggling, Viral responds to Simon, "Simon you're a bigger idiot than I thought. I can't die remember? The Spiral King made me immortal. Dumbass. Come on kill me I don't care." Viral waves his hands in a way that says come on I dare you.
