When the shadows leave their warren, it will be the moon that they seek. And as it hops through the sky, only the thunder will shriek. Water is stained red and a bright light will flash, but until the mountains trust, the sky will be black.
"What does it mean, grandpa?" begged Flamepaw, and this was the first time in a very long time that she has sounded so desperate. So willing to throw away her pride, just for an answer. For help, on this one problem.
In front of her, the black tom just stared at her with clouded amber eyes. Even in death, his fur was tinged with silver, his eyes heavy with sorry. "I can't tell you that, Flamepaw. You know that you must figure it out on your own."
Flamepaw pushed herself to her feet, tail lashing behind her. "No! Tell me, please! If I don't figure this out soon enough, they'll die! She'll die!"
And Flamepaw couldn't let that happen, not because she wasn't quick enough. So she would give up anything that her grandfather wanted. Anything and everything, and even her life. Just to keep Moonpaw safe, to chase away the shadows plagueing her friends mind.
Her grandfather could see that. And, for the first time in many moons, he took advantage. For the first time in many moons, he took back his sight.

LunarClan -
Leader: Silverstar - a soft hearted tom with a bright silver pelt. Age has spattered it with white and his eyesight is slowly going.
Deputy: Silentstrike - a fierce, dark grey tom with white on his muzzle and left hindpaw. Bright green eyes.
Warriors:
Blackfrost - a strong black tom with dark amber eyes.
Sunflight - a strong-willed golden she-cat with very long legs and white dapples.
Miststorm - a small, light grey she-cat whose back is covered in scars.
Riverscreech - a blue-grey and white dappled she-cat with very long fur.
Sandtalon - a thick-furred tawny tom, with a white blaze.
Thornmask - a dark brown tabby tom, with strange markings around his face.
Falconstorm - a dark brown tom with black on his stomach, muzzle, and the tip of his tail.
Apprentices:
Moonpaw - a sleek silver and white patched she-cat with a fluffy tail and dark green eyes.
Flamepaw - A dark ginger she-cat with black splotches across her pelt. Her tail is more then a little bit fluffy and she has sharp green eyes.
Thunderpaw - a bulky, dark brown tabby she-cat that is much bigger then most she-cats. She has kind green eyes.
Bubblepaw - a small, light grey she-cat. She has dark grey and white patches on her pelt and wide blue eyes.
Brightpaw - a tawny she-cat with a white underbelly and throat. Her eyes are bright blue.
Queens:
Snowmist - a sleek white she-cat with a very fluffy tail and dark green eyes. (mate - Silverstar, kits - Tinykit)
Foxsong - a slender ginger she-cat with kind blue eyes. (mate - Blackfrost; kits - Littlekit, Firekit, and Emberkit)
Kits:
Tinykit - a small, white she-cat with bright blue eyes and a fluffy tail.
Littlekit - a black tom with too big paws and light blue eyes.
Firekit - a dark ginger she-cat with amber eyes.
Emberkit - a black and ginger she-cat that is very sickly.
