Pairing: Kay X Edgeworth

Edgeworth watched as Kay sat in the passenger seat of his car. They had been parked out side her apartment for some time now. She was apologizing about him having to drive her home when he lived in the opposite direction. She didn't know it, but he didn't mind driving her home. In fact, he always looked forward to it.
She had invaded his thoughts, pressed into his dreams, and made him look at the world differently. He noticed that solitude seemed less and less inviting, and every mornings began with the thought of seeing her again. This crazy girl had entered his life and turned everything upside down, and he welcomed it. He thought that she might have some idea of his feelings, but neither said anything that lead on to that conclusion.
"So, I'll see you tomorrow then." Kay said, opening the door and getting out of the car. For three years he had watched her do that, and for three years he simply nodded and drove home. She smiled and turned, heading for her apartment. Something deep inside seized him, and made him turn off the car and get out. He walked briskly to catch up with her. Once he was behind her, he reached out and grasped her hand. She turned and saw him standing there, holding her hand.
"Kay,..." He whispered, raising a hand and brushing her hair out of her face. Now that he was standing there, all his fears and apprehension was pushed aside. "Kay, I love you."
She looked up at him and smiled. "I figured as much." Kay wrapped her arm around his neck and kissed him, and he kissed back.
She was a crazy girl
And he was crazy for her.
