Alright so I fixed this story. It's spaced out, and it shouldn't be in Boldface anymore.

Sonic was walking through a dense, but hard to navigate forest.

"Ugh, I'll never find that pothead." Sonic mumbled to himself.

He was hoping for better results. It was starting to get dark. Sonic had to hurry up because it was suppose to rain.

"I sure hope Scratchy's predictions were wrong." Sonic worried he wouldn't find Silver before it started raining. "I won't get anywhere if I keep talking to myself."

It got really dark. Sonic combed the forest as fast as he could. Suddenly Sonic stopped. He trembled horribly. He couldn't tell if it was fear or the chill of the air. Sonic swore under his breath as he continued his search for the beloved Fluffy.

"I swear none of this would of happened if Silver would have just stayed put."

Sonic kept shaking with great terror. Then Sonic swore he could have heard something. He looked left and right but didn't see anything. He looked up but when he looked down he wished he didn't.

"Not now."

Sonic kept searching but could ignore the fact that he knew something was up.

"I don't need two problems. Not at this time." But Sonic knew what was going on.

The remains of something fluttered to the ground.

"Huh?" Sonic looked down at something on the ground that was familiar. Then he looked at his gloves.

"What the!? Why now?!" Sonic cursed loudly.

He looked down at his arm and then his leg.

"Great! Now I have more problems to deal with!"

His ears pricked up higher and turned navy blue. He started groaning in pain.

"Not now..." he said, gritting his teeth as they started to grow and sharpen.

His muzzle changed from pale to light blue. So did his hands and inner ears. He continued to moan and soon collapsed to the ground with his hands on his head.

"God make it stop..." he begged painfully.

His arms and legs were covered in navy fur. He started whining at the excruciating pain.

'Make it stop please...'

The buckles on his shoes were gone and replaced with a steel gray strip and spikes. The top of his socks were torn. His moaning finally stopped.

"Great...just great..." Sonic mumbled.

And as soon as he said that, it started raining.

"Uh, I better go home."

So he started running home. But, he didn't get very far.

"Sonic?"

Somebody was behind him. Sonic looked behind him and saw none other than Shadow.

"Shadow! What are you doing out here?" Sonic questioned the obsidian hedgehog.

"Hmph, nothing much. Is that really you Sonic? You look like a big furball" Shadow stared at him in amazement not knowing that this could happen to his alter ego.

"Yeah, it's me." Sonic sighed in disappointment.

"Strange, yet interesting. Maybe you should go see that two-tailed brainiac friend of yours." Shadow said.

"Sadly I can't do that...Tails has seen me before." Sonic was still shaking a little.

"I wonder why it wouldn't affect me. Or Silver for that matter." Shadow continued.

"I wouldn't say that too soon Shadster..." Sonic said.
