Title: Centre of the Universe
Spoilers: Minor spoilers for A Day in the Death.
Prompt: Universe/Love
Copyright: I do not own Torchwood, Captain Jack Harkness or Ianto Jones, and it's probably best that I don't.
You're walking through the Hub, passing your fellow colleagues as you go by, smiling at each one in turn.
Your suit is mark and crease free, just as always, and the steaming cup of coffee that you're holding is warming up your hands that are freezing from the cold Welsh weather.
You walk up the stairs leading to the office above, just as you do every single day. Except this time, it's all different. This time, everything's changed.
You see Toshiko Sato as you go by, your best friend within this place. She's tinkering with the Weather monitor, attempting to figure out the irregular patterns, and if they are caused by the Rift or not.
Owen Harper is no where in your sight, probably down in the Autopsy bay, poking at the stitches in his hand again, seeing if he really can no longer heal.
Gwen Cooper, well Gwen has finally listened to you, and began the paperwork you asked her to do weeks ago. This makes you smile slightly.
You get nervous as you knock on the glass door of the large office your boss occupies. Your hands begin to sweat slightly, and you see the coffee within the mug wobble due to the shaking motion of your hands.
The door swiftly opens, and there stands the Captain. His greatcoat is off, his braces drawn off his shoulders to hang down over his perfectly sculpted ass, that you can't help but glance down at.
"Took you long enough" he chuckled, and he turned around giving you a perfect view of that ass you love so much.
You know exactly what the Captain wants. The blinds are drawn and his desk is free of clutter, this could only mean one thing. Of course, you aren't going to deny him what he wants, so you shut the door behind you, and place the coffee on the cabinet, so unlike last time, it doesn't get in the way and burn you.
You're Jones, Ianto Jones. Archivist, friend and Captain's lover. You're just one person within the world, but for the next hour, you're the centre of one special persons Universe.

Authors Note: I never write in 2nd person, and until fanfictions, I'd never write in 3rd person either. It's different, but I like the idea of imagining being Ianto and walking to meet Jack. I definitely prefer 3rd person though.
