Dan pulled down his sleeves to hide the red scars on his arms. Dan hated everything about himself he hated school, he had no friends and his family certainly didn't care. His dad had died when he was two and his mum didn't give a fuck, she knew that Dan self-harmed but she never did anything and if she saw the cuts on his arm she would just frown and go back to reading some shitty magazine.
It was 7 am and he had to get up to go to school, he jumped in the shower and got changed into his black skinny jeans and a long sleeved Fall Out Boy t shirt, said bye to his mum and slammed the door. His school was about a 40 minute walk, Dan always walked alone with MCR blasting in his ears trying to drown out the world and all his problems. When he got to school he had to walk to his first lesson which was on the other side of the school, as he pushed past the groups of teenage girls and the hipster kids always keeping his head down, he suddenly felt a body collide with his which made him fall to the floor and papers fly everywhere.
'Um um I'm so sorry' stammered Dan.
Dan suddenly looked up and he saw an unfamiliar face but he saw the most beautiful guy he had ever seen, his pale white skin, his big sea blue that you could almost fall into, Dan always knew that he was bi but he had never been this attracted to a guy before.
'No really its fine it was my fault' said the mystery boy.
'Um well I've got to get to class bye' said Dan who was sort of embaressed.
'See you later' said the guy.
Dan walked as slowly as he good to his first lesson when he got to his class he found his seat took out his book and started taking notes, all through the class he couldn't get the encounter he had just had with the mystery boy, Dan thought he was the most attractive guy in the world but he would never find him attractive. The bell rang and it was a relief because Dan hated this class, his next two lessons were a drag he hardly learnt anything because he didn't see the point because he just didn't care about his life anymore.
At lunch time Dan sat alone as always, he had his head down reading a book but then he saw the boy from before walking over to him.
