Leaves. All he could see in front of him were leaves. Where was he? Did he get lost? What was it that he was doing? To his right he heard a squeal from the boar. "Oh that's right!" he shouted to himself. He dashed toward the sound of pounding hooves and got out his weapon, a simple red pole gifted to him from his grandfather. "You're not getting away mister boar!" the boy cried. As he swung the weapon he repeated the words his grandfather taught him so he could make the heirloom work. " Power pole extend!" In the blink of an eye, the pole grew from three feet to fifty feet so it would make contact with its intended target. When it hit, the pole let out a loud crack, letting it's weilder know he had struck the animal, a direct hit! As the animal lay on the ground motionless the boy walked up to it, kneeled down and put his hands together to pray for the soul of his prey. "Sorry I had to kill you mister boar, but I was starving! Thank you for your sacrifice." As the boy opened his eyes, he examined the animal and saw it was a good size. "Wow, this thing is huge! It probably weighs over 150 pounds!"The boy grabbed the tough, brown fur and, with some effort, lifted the dead animal onto the top of his back, keeping it steady with his arms. "Okay, I've wasted a little too much time so... SUPER SPEED!", with that, the boy was sprinting at speeds people only dreamed of, easily clearing 8 feet with each stride. "Going this fast, I'll probably be home in about3 minutes I think. Good! I can't wait to eat this boar! I'm so hungry I might have to hunt for something else!"As the boy was running, a mountain unlike any other came into view. "Alright! Mount Paouzu! Just a little more and I'll be eating like a king!"The boy jumped high in the air, but did not fall. Instead he stayed up there, floating for a second, then he floated higher and higher until he started flying as fast as he could to the top of the mountain. When he landed, he dropped the boar and ran to the side of the old house that belonged to his great-great-grandpa Gohan, the man his father was named after, to get some fire wood and a couple of sticks to roast the boar with. After setting up the wood, he brought his right hand to his side and carefully built up a small light in his palm. After a second he threw the light to the wood and, with a small explosion, the fire was lit. "I would cook it with ki, but it just tastes better with fire in my opinion!"After a while, the boar was done and the boy finished his meal. "Ahhh, man! That hit the spot! Never mind, I guess I won't need to eat anything else!"The boy decides to lay on the grass, donning the smile his father and grandfather were known for, content with what the day brougt him, the smile faded a while after though. "I wonder when everybody is coming back, Ive been on my own for a while now, and for some reason, I feel weaker than what I should be. Mr. Piccolo could probably help me with that if he were around... It sure is lonely here... Oh well! They'll come back! And when they do, I'll show them just how strong I can become on my own!" The boy vaulted to his feet, determination burning in his eyes. He would re-gain the power he had lost, and he would show everyone just how much he could grow in strength! And with that thought, he began training, going through what everyone taught him while he grew up. "Grandpa, Vageta, Piccolo, dad! I will grow stronger!"

Hello everyone! This is BrokenRecord96 and welcome to my first ever fanfiction! So, I know that this isn't starting out like any other Naruto story you've read, but don't worry! I'll get there! Another thing, I'm not going to say "no flames please, don't be mean! Love it or leave it! Blehhhh!", mostly because I have no idea what flames are, and I also want and need criticism! I want this to be a fun story for people to read and if I'm doing something wrong I want to know about it! Well that's it for now, til the next chapter! See ya!
