Rain
It was a foreboding thing in our relationship
A harbinger for disaster
When it rains, I know that something bad is going to happen
I mean, look at our past
Our wedding canceled- raining
We're arrested-raining
Many long nights fighting (or worse) about jack- raining
The end of his life- raining
When he became the captain of the Flying Dutchman and left us – raining
Rain hasn't brought us anything good
Well…..
That's not completely true
We DID get married in the rain
And the days in the smithy with him when it was raining were nice
And Anna, our little girl was born in the rain
Maybe it's just showing that something is going to happen
Yes I'll think of it that way
While I wait for him
As I watch Liam and Anna play and laugh ad the wait for their father
Ya, rains not all bad
It just sometimes it's at the wrong place at the wrong time
Or it does something wrong because it's trying to do something right
Like me
Like a pirate
