Mr. L was trudging around Castle Bleck, his boredom reducing him to wandering aimlessly around what he now called his "home away from home". The engineer-slash-mystery-man-slash-gentleman-thief had no idea that he would soon be the saviour of four desperate people.

He had no idea that he would soon have four people owing him some sort of favour.

He had no idea of any of this.

All Mr. L knew was that when you're an arrogant hard-core Rainbow Dash brony with wings, after watching both Friendship is Magic seasons - twice - in the same day, you start trying Dash stunts.

And you start getting a real bad head-ache.

Mr. L sighed and glared both at his aching forehead that displayed an egg-sized bruise and his left wing which was wrapped in bandages. He shoved his hands into his pockets and trudged on.

Little did he know that someone was watching him.

L rounded a corner, and as he did so, he had the feeling that he was going the wrong way. He turned around to backtrack...

...And came face to face with Dimentio.

The jester's pupils were dilated, and he was sweating slightly. Dimentio kept twisting his poncho up with his hands, and he had the air of a man who is desperate for help.

"Whaddaya want?" snapped L, who was in no hurry for their conversation to go anywhere. Might break the monotony anyway.

"I... I need your help." The words tumbled out of the jester's mouth in a hurry, so fast that they almost blended together.

"That doesn't exactly enlighten me," replied Mr. L, leaning against the wall cockily.

"What I meant to say is that we need your help," corrected Dimentio.

"We?" said L, raising an eyebrow expectantly.

"Mimi, O'Chunks, Raven and I," said Dimentio. "We need your help... to..."

"To?" said Mr. L, starting to get annoyed.

"To fix the computer."

"And why would I want to?" smirked Mr. L, clearly enjoying the attention.

Mimi folded her arms and huffed. "Well, duh! Stop being such a dummy-head. Golly, L, don't you know that we have accounts to check?"

"Videos to watch?" put in O'Chunks.

"Pairings to be petrified of?" added Raven.

"We-e-ell," said Mr. L, pretending to consider. "I guess I COULD help you... but you'd owe me big-time."

The other four nodded their heads so fast they were blurred.

"Whatever you want!" said Raven.

"Good," said the alter-ego. He walked up to the computer, bent down, and flicked the switch.

The others watched him, open-mouthed, as L pressed the power button and the screen flickered to life.

"How... did you..." stammered Dimentio.

"We jus' owed ya..." gaped O'Chunks.

"Just cuz we didn't see the SWITCH?" screamed Mimi.

"Yup," said Mr. L smugly.

"You MEANIE-HEAD! YOU KNEW THAT ALREADY!"

Mr. L quickly skirted outside, waving goodbye and tipping his hat. And not a moment too soon, for Mimi in spider form bashed the door down and scuttled furiously after the engineer a few seconds later.

Meanwhile, inside the study, the remaining three were shaking their heads at themselves.

"Like a gazelle caught in a trap, we have been cleverly tricked," stated Dimentio.

The other two nodded.
