Reassuring Words
"I love you too" Chuck said as he walked into his bedroom, the same room Blair had just walked into after she comforted him in his living room. "Always have, always will"
Blair smiled and turned around to face her boyfriend. She walked across the room and gave Chuck a soft kiss on the lips. He grabbed her by the hips and pulled her close to him and buried his face in her neck.
"I love you, I love you, I love you" He repeated as he kissed her neck over and over again.
"Chuck, do you want to talk?" Blair asked when she felt tears dripping on her shoulder.
Chuck nodded into her neck and pulled away. When she noticed his red eyes and tear stained cheeks, her own eyes filled up with tears.
Chuck walked her backwards to the bed, not wanting to let her go yet. He sat down and pulled her onto his lap. "I was stupid. I was stupid enough to think that maybe my mother wasn't dead. That I would finally have a mother. I should have listened to you. You told me how unrealistic it was, but I got my hopes up and it was just for one of my fathers stupid whores." Chuck cried.
Blair turned in his lap and wiped away his tears. She knew that Chuck would only ever cry in front of anyone if he was really, really upset. "It's okay Chuck. I know what its like to wish things were different. I wish my father wasn't living with his ay lover in France. I wish I wasn't bulimic. I know how you feel. Like I said before, I will always be your family Chuck. I love you. So much. I love you so much it consumes me. I'll always be here. I promise. Remember this, when you are feeling upset, or have some crazy suspicion, I will stand by you through anything. You can always talk to me Chuck. Nothing is more important than you." She said.
She was shocked when Chuck suddenly pulled her in for a loving kiss. She soon melted into the embrace.
"I love you Blair. Thank you so much. I don't know what I ever did to deserve you." Chuck spoke between kisses.
"You were you. That's what you did to deserve me. It's always been you. I never thought I could be with you when we were younger, so I settled with Nate and planned a fairytale life to take away the pain of not having you. When you started sleeping around, it broke my heart even more, so I would stay away from you as much as possible so I wouldn't cry." Blair suddenly said.
"Are you serious?" Blair nodded "I never thought I could have you Blair. I was so fixated on you when we were kids. When you got with Nate, it broke my heart, so I started drinking, smoking pot and sleeping around to get my mind off of you. Did you never notice that the girls were mainly brunette? I would bury my face in their hair and imagine it was you, but they never smelt like you." Chuck admitted
"So, your telling me that we could have been together all of our lives?" Blair laughed
"I guess so, but I would change how we happened, because all the heartache we caused each other made us love one another even more." Chuck smiled.
"Your right. I love you Chuck. Always have"
"Always will" Chuck finished for her as he laid her down on the bed and climbed on top of her. He proved how much he loved her many times that night and they fell asleep in each other arms.
