A war was the start.
Who was good? they asked.
Who was bad? Are you on their side, are you on our side, are you a traitor? Questions of different loylties flew around.
And James Sirius Potter was the hero.
Son of Harry James Potter, their last savoir, he was born to save, to lead, for greatness and fame.
Everyone who were good (at least they said so) all put their faith on him.
'He is going to save us from these evil people and this new dark lord,' they had said.
Even though some were skeptical, he was too good at everything and too charming that they had to give in.
He was their leader, their main man, the one who would stick with them no matter what.
And then what?
Then the war broke out.
And with two quick words, a swish of a wand, with a flash of green light, just like that, he was gone.
The feeling was surreal.
Lily Luna Potter was a little girl when she started this battle.
But she's no longer a girl, she's a young woman.
But she hadn't learnt to deal with loss yet.
And it was hard. Very much so.
Her knees and hands, and whole body basically were trembling and her eyes were staring at the body.
At his body.
How would she go on?
James was her big brother, her mentor, her best friend, her everything.
And now... emptiness.
The great big void of lonesomeness was filling her deeper and deeper.
She knew of no one who could've ever felt this way, known how she was feeling.
Except...
Maybe...
Her dad.
Her dad: Harry Potter. Bot Who Lived. Twice. The Chosen One. Orphan at one. Lost many many people in his journeys.
She stumbled to him and collapsed into his open arms.
"Daddy..."
"I know, I know."
He didn't even say it was going to be okay.
Because was it?
And Lily loved him for that.
Lily placed her head on her dad's shoulder and wiped away a final tear while saying, softly:
"I love you, Daddy."
"I love you too."
A whisper was the end.
So in my head cannon for next gen some things happen.
a- James dies
b- Albus Severus died soon after birth
c-Fred didn't die
d- New bad people come
That's about it.
Hope you enjoyed.
