This type of Silver is what general pokemon players that know nothing of shipping see him as, or are completely disgusted by love/hate relationships. This is how it would probably go out:
"I won't lose against you again, let's battle!"
"But I don't feel like it."
"let's battle."
"but my pokemon's health is low."
"...let's battle!"
"...isn't there anything else you see worth doing other than battling?"
"...yo mom!"
