Heaven.
I closed my eyes for a moment, inhaling and exhaling deeply. My hands were shaking.
'Nick?' she asked curiously waiting for me to stop.
To stop doing something she wasn't used to. That's why besides curiosity, I heard worry & a hint of fear in her voice. Memories were shooting through my brains. Every single happy moment with her, damn, even every time I saw her eyes was a happy moment for me.
Those were incredible. Like a sunrise, that hits person straight into his heart, makes his every sense to mix and lifts him high into the sky. Bright blue sky, like her eyes, just those were way happier and more hypnotising.
I remember when I asked her to be my girlfriend. Back then I was so shy (can't say that I changed much) and was freaking out. After all, she was the "hottest" girl in our school. Only I saw way more behind that...
Everyone said, that I was a romantic type and I can work it out. I tried my best, bought a lots of things… and she turned me down. I asked why and she, said smiling softly: 'I don't need your presents Nick, I just want you to want me, like I want you.' Without any words I dropped an expensive gift I was holding and kissed her. That's how the happiest time of my life started.
Now I was squeezing a little box in my hands. A key to our future… or me being miserable. That's why I was so scared. She may not be prepared and turn me down. Then I would die, because she is my life and you can't live without your life, right?
'Nick, please… trust me.' she said putting her hand on my chest, and from her touch I felt the most amazing feeling that inspired me some courage.
'Miley.' I whispered opening my eyes and stared into her beautiful face that made me calm. 'I can't call my living days a life, before I met you. You colored it with all the colours of the rainbow. Your smile warmed my heart and your heart spread love to everyone. I was hoping that a ray of your love could land on me… I was hoping that one day you could see me like someone worth enough to stand by you. I would rather die than redo something that day when I met you. That's why I have one question for you.' I looked and saw tears in her eyes. I felt tears coming to my own eyes and I was silent for a moment. Then I sucked a deep breath in and said. 'Will you marry me?'
Her smile got bigger and bigger and then she started laughing, crying and shouting. 'Yes, yes, YES!'. I grabbed her and started spinning around, laughing uncontrollably.
She is my heaven.
