And So It Ends
I walked along the cold planet of white and silver. Remembering the glory that once lived here saddens me. It shown with a brilliance that never will grace us again. As I come to Mare Serenitis I see only remnants of the once glorious palace of the moon. The moon has now become a planet of death that orbits the earth. Oh, from here the earth looks like a giant blue marble.
"Serenity," I whisper.
As I look at this barren place I see someone in the distance. It is the guardian of time, Pluto. Only she and I are left after the great battle. For she is the Solider of time and I the Sovereign of Silence. So we are always somewhere in time. One to end an era of time; the other to guard it.
"Pluto," I speak to her.
She has heard me and moves in my direction.
"Saturn," she replies.
I didn't want it to end this way. I wanted peace to live forever in our Silver Millennium. Where the kingdom of the Moon reigned supreme and everything was filled with it's light, love, beauty, and peace. But no longer.
"I miss the joy and light the Silver Millennium brought don't you?" I ask Setusna. She doesn't reply but I can see the pain evident in her garnet eyes. I walk to her and touch her shoulder. She looks at me.
"I wish it didn't have to end but as the guardian of time I knew it would, I just wish I could have changed it," she says. "Death eventually comes after birth and even after all these eons of watching it happen over and over again I still don't wish to except it," she sighs.
I feel her pain coarse through me. It hurts to think about the past. Unlike the other senshi we live eternal lives. Time and death the beginning and end of all things. We are one.
"Shall we end it now?" I ask her. She merely nods her head.
We bring our staffs together. Staff of Time and the Gailve of Silence. She halts the time and I slowly bring my gailve down to touch the earth.
"Ja ne, Setsuna-chan we will meet again in another time and place. When the Silver Millennium will be born once more," I whisper.
"Ja ne, Hotaru-chan I will miss you," she replies.
And so it ends.
UPDATE 8-17-5
I realize that I haven't update Unsettled Emotions in a long time. However I've been swamped, and don't see a clearing on the horizon any time soon unfortunately so the rest of that fic will be on hold for a while. Also for my other two fics I realize that they need some serious revising considering I wrote them about three to four years ago, though I don't think I published them till 2003. Unfortunately these will also have to wait. On I have a Gundam Wing H/R fic if you want to read it, considering it can't be posted on this one legally because of obvious reasons. I hope you will be patient with me and I'll try to do these things when I can. Thank you.
