He grasped the lifeless hand of his former friend. "It's nothing personal, really." His voice lacked all emotion, for he had lost his ability to feel long ago. It had been two Years since Tim had posted the final entry of marble hornets. He thought he would get over it. He thought he could start over, but the Operator would not have that. Alex had once told him to kill all affiliated with the operator, then himself. Tim had never forgotten this. He spent two years figuring out what he thought to be his new life.

He moved to a small town in Alabama and started working in retail. It wasn't the ideal lifestyle, but anything to get away from what happed. The past week had been normal. Till he received a call from an old friend, Jessica. She was just wanting to talk and see how he was. A kind gesture really, but Tim saw it differently. A sigh that the Operator was still present in his life, and he was never free.

This made him remember all the things that had happened, and Alex's dying words. Tim called Jessica back and asked if they could get together and catch up. She gladly agreed, having no memory of what had happed to her. She was blissfully unaware of what she had started.

Now Jessica blood stained corps sat on the Floor of her Old hotel room. The room Tim was staying in while staying in town. Quite fitting really, this was the room everyone believed she died in. Now their beliefs could be confirmed.

Just before she died Jessica asked Tim about Jay. She still longed to meet him as if doing so could fill some void, and in some since in would. Tim toyed with lying to her again, but decided against it. He told her the truth. Jay had been dead for two years. Jay, his memory was probably the thing that kept Tim from doing this for so long, but now even that couldn't stop him.

"Jessica, go tell Jay I'm sorry, but its time I do what i was destined to do. Tell him..." He paused for a moment "Tell him I am Totheark." He stood and looked to an object on the bed. A white mask. He slipped in on, and walked out the door.
