Chapter I : Summer in Tokyo
"Yoh,hey Yoh! GET UP YOH!" said Manta as he stood over Yoh, which layed on the couch in his clothing with food wrappers all over the ground."wha time is it Manta-kun?" replied Yoh, while he rolled off the couch onto the carpeted ground."Did you forget that today is when you are soppose to meet Ren, up at Tokyo bay for some training?" said Manta as he helped push Yoh, to his feet while he moved him into the kitchen and sat him down at the wooden table with a vase full of roses."Whats for breakfast,Manta-kun?" said Yoh while wiping his eyes waiting for coffee to completely wake him up."We are having Scrambled Eggs, buttered toast and of course your coffee" smiled Manta, as he rushed to the coffee pot to pour Yoh, his morning coffee.
After breakfast Yoh sat down once again on the couch and flipped though the channels on the televison looking for the news, to see if Ryu of the Wooden Sword has been up to no good again.
"Man, there is nothing strange going on and not even Ryu is making any trouble,meaning this will be another boring day.." said Yoh followed by a set of sighs.The calm quiet chirping door bell sound filled the house, which Yoh never notcied, while Manta dashed to the door and looked though the peep hole."Yoh-kun, umm.. Ren is at the door" Exclaimed Manta in a nervous voice "he has never came to the door before,err what do i do?" said Manta nevously.Yoh got to his feet as he yawned again,stretching his arms up high picking up the remote off the couch and clicking the off button,while he walked towards the door,looking though the peep hole then unlocking the door and opening it.Ren sat in the doorway in a black suit and black tie,"Hello Asakura, are you ready for the training that you planned?" said Ren as he walked foward into Manta's apartment.The room was quiet while Manta stayed in the hallway biting his fingernails, scared that Ren may try to do something mean to him and Yoh."Hey Manta come out here we are going to go to Tokyo bay soon to train are you going to come?" said Yoh as he looked around the living room for Manta.The short Manta came out of the hallway smiling ackward towards Ren."Greetings Manta, now Yoh we must go is Amidamaru ready?" said Ren, as he turned around and walked out of Manta's apartment."Manta, come on lets go,hey Amidamaru you ready?".Manta followed Ren out of the apartment as the Transulcent spirit Amidamaru followed Yoh, as he closed the Apartment door and locked it, with the key that Manta had given him.
Ren led the way to Tokyo Bay where Bason, Ren's Ghost partner was awaiting them."Ah, Young master Ren you have arrived, hello Yoh and Manta" said Bason while Ren ran over to a few cargo boxes and picked up his Sword which he has been training with."Hey Manta-kun, you can watch us fight, and here take this cola",Yoh threw a black canned Cola over to Manta which barely caught it."Thanks Yoh, well let the training begin!" said Manta smiling opening his Cola.The aura came over Ren meaning that he had already intergrated with Bason, "Don't worry Yoh, i only intergrated 50%" said Ren grasping his sword waiting for Yoh to do the same.Amidamaru Turned into his Spirit-Ball Form and jumped into Yoh's hand,while Yoh pushed him inside of him, "Intergration 50%!" said Yoh, as the Intergration was complete.The calm winds of Tokyo Bay made it a relaxing training inviornment,Ren charged at Yoh with his Sword,while Yoh stood in the same spot holding up his sword as though he was going to do nothing.When ten inches away from Yoh, Ren pointed the blade at Yoh's chest, as Yoh used his quick reflexes and jumped atop of a few cargo boxes then dashing at Ren with a Aerial attack.
